Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23GW23 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards!
This round of fixtures sees us off with a lunch time kickoff and what a game we have in store. A battle between a Hull team who couldn’t score on the FF247 writers versus a side who lost their heart and soul when the silver fox took his talents to Crystal Palace. Luckily some actual FPL talent hit the pitch with six 3pm games. Including a battle at Anfield when former Liverpool heroes Downing and Carroll pay a visit. The best fixture of the GW caps the Saturday games. As City looks to revive their hopes of challenging for the title with a visit to Stamford Bridge. Sunday brings us the last two fixtures of the GW, with Arsene’s men chasing down that coveted 4th place title vs the goal scoring machine of Aston Villa. We then finish the GW off with the surprising Saints as they look to continue their inspiring march towards the champions league.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep checking back in and see where you stand in the leaderboard.

Current WC Team 0.5m in the bank

I did have Myhill but could afford Loris for the pending DGW

    Clichy, Jones or Clyne?

Waiting on news on Sanchez – I may go Cazorla as a differential and saves cash

    Thanks

Bertrand will drop a lot, I think. At least 0.2m so once he returns I can do Fonte to Bertrand. Think I’ll replace Terry once the blank GW is in sight. Just Hazard and Kane will be rested on the bench for that blank GW.

How does it work in gameweek 28? because there´s twice a tottenham game. Does it mean, tottenham players are counted twice?
and sorry for my bed English, i´m not from UK 😉

          Hey Cookie,

thanks for the information. So i think i have to keep in GW28 two free transfers to pick up players vom Tottenham. I can´t find the new date of Leicester – Chelsea, do you know it?

Looks good – the only sticking points I have are Mannone and Targett. Would you have enough cash to replace them with players that start? Krul and Wasilewski, for example?

      • theswirly says:

Ignore me – just seen you have £0m in the bank after I posted that!

      • Raziel says:

Swirly. Pantsu and Mannone are from the same time. I expect Pantsu to play everything. Their fixtures are pretty awesome and even against the big teams he gets a whole lot of saves. He got 68 points in 1260 minutes. If you look at point per minute ratio he’s the best goalie out there, better than DDG. If you do it simple and add the points Mannone got in his first 7 somewhat games (and he was poor) to Pantsu’s than you’ll have 97 points for the goalie. And Pantsu is much better than Mannone. Another good example is Hart or even Courtois. Courtois got 71 points in 1733 minutes and Hart got 78 in 1890 minutes. Pantsu is just the best goalie, period. smile

      NIN says:

Taylor and Targett are the only concerns i see here mate. I don’t think Targett will fill in for Bertrand and Swansea have some tough games ahead.

      • Raziel says:

Naylor has Sunderland next and if you can keep a CS versus Soton away, anything is possible. I think without Siggy/Bony the team will shut down the back more.

        • NIN says:

If you reckon they’ll keep it tight then okay, go for it. I fancy Sunderland to beat them, to be honest. Fixtures aren’t great after this weekend either.

        • Raziel says:

Ok, I’ll look around some more. smile

Williams was awesome today. Although, that sucked for me as Bertrand owner. sad

        • NIN says:

Yeah Williams played well again. He’s a very good defender in fairness to him. The sooner Southampton have J-Rod back fit, the better. Put him in place of Pelle and they would have completely destroyed Swansea today. They need pace and movement from their striker otherwise days like today will happen too often.

        • Raziel says:

Swansea at home are still a very different team from away though? You sure Sun will score there? sad

        • NIN says:

Cant be sure that it will happen but i fancy Sunderland to get a result there at least. Could easily be wrong, but that’s how i see it going.

May as well have Naughton over Taylor and save some cash and lose Target, you will only have to waste a transfer in a few weeks transferring him out.Apart from that very nice team Raz.

This better people? Targett and Naylor out for Naughton and Yun. Have 0.5m in the bank.
