Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW25 is live! What a way to kick-off the game-week!! We see the top two teams battle it out in a lunch time fixture. Cinderella (Leicester) takes on the future home of Prince Charming (Pep) in what promises to be a drama filled game. Three o’clock sees six fixtures our way. Villa and Norwich tangle in a talentless face off, Liverpool and Sunderland compare defenders just for laughs, Newcastle look to start getting away from relegation when they square off versus The Baggies. We also see the rampaging Spurs continue their magical carpet ride to the top when they look to grab all three points versus Watford. The Stokies are set to do battle with Everton, while the Swans look to take advantage of a Palace side that has lost their way or some would say found their way to Adebayor…not sure there is a difference there. The Saturday games come to an end when the Forster led Saints look for their 5th clean sheet on the bounce since Fraser made it back when they welcome in West Ham.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Born again Bournemouth faces off versus 4th place again Arsenal and in the last of our fixtures, Chelsea will look to contain the on again genius of LVG.

Any suggestion regarding my team would be appreciated

    Hey guys

    Quite pleased with 68 points
Loving the 3 bp for Cech.
    Anyway I got 2 ft / 0.2 itb
I’m thinking Gwk 27 where I’ll lose Lukaku, Barkley & Aguero.
I could go with a unorthodox 5-4-1 formation or look to do something over the next two weeks.
Lukaku to Vardy looks the obvious move,
Is there anything else worth doing?

    Plz rate

      NIN says:

Barkley –> decent cheap mid that you can use in the blank week and upgrade Ward to a Southampton defender maybe?

Definitely play Payet this week and there’s no way i would sell Aguero for the blank. Just bench him. All it takes is an injury / suspension or two for you to struggle to get him back in after the blank. Unless he’s injured, keep the little shit laugh

      • Bigpopz says:

        Cheers Nin

        Wasn’t considering selling Aguero.
May keep Barkley over Lukaku tho..
Don’t fancy going into Gwk 27 with just Kane upfront.
        Still pondering bringing in Vardy
Probly do the soton defender move
        Wolly or ward could go.

        • NIN says:

Ah, okay so, i misunderstood what you said. Cool. Despite being stuck with one striker in 27 i would still lose Barkley ahead of Lukaku he hasn’t been producing anyway, other than that lucky haul the other week. Neither has Luka, to be fair, but he’s a better option than Barkley anyway, for me.

Yea zouma injury sounds bad….not seen it but..

I Don’t fancy any Chelski cover this season
Non of them are really doing owt.
Maybe Costa could be interesting but he needs to chill.

Evening gents, a very big and shiny green arrow (+100k) on saturday turned into a very small and shy one on sunday (+20k) but I’ll take that anyway.
Looking ahead, next GW is the first in several followed by euro midweek cups which could affect team sheet and focus.
However, after those euro cups first legs it’s a FA cup weekend so maybe it wont really matter rotation wise. What’s peoples´ thoughts on this?
Teams involved for now are chelsea, spurs, liverpool and manutd.

      NIN says:

A 20k rise would be most welcome! Shitty 5k rise for me last week laugh

I doubt there will be wholesale changes for league games once the other competitions kick off again. It’s always a worry, and there will be a few disappointments here and there but on the whole i wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Anything to change here on a wildcard.

Undecided on that last mid spot. Siggy/Antonio/?

      Snookie Bear says:

Would want to get Sanchez and downgrade Van Dijk as you already have Forster, also would either keep Cech or bellerin :/ Too much invested in defense tbh

      NIN says:

Ww, talk about selection headaches! Every slot is strong, which is good, but probably a bit over the top for me. How will you decide which GK to play each week when both are doing so well? Same with the defenders and then you’ve got Toby and Fuchs in there too. Same problem in midfield.

So, what to do; First i would lose one of the GK’s, doesn’t matter which as both are doing well, and should do well going forward. Break up both the defensive double up’s and get either Ivanovic or Azpilicueta in there. Siggy would also go if this were my squad and through all these changes, Vardy would become Costa.

I’m too tired to work out the money situation and scour the transfer page for options but that’s a good start as to what i would do here.

      • inwhiterooms says:

Thanks for the replies guys. 7.2 is my $ limit on that last mid slot so money is a little tight at the moment. Southhampton look so good down back with Forster back in between the sticks so I’m more than happy to double up there.

I’m open to losing Bellerin for a cheaper defender but Arsenal also look good at the back.

Fuchs is there for Leicester defensive cover (fixtures are great after this week) so I’m expecting a few clean sheets moving forward.

I wouldn’t mind taking Sanchez but I’m struggling to see who goes out.

        • NIN says:

Just to note: I do like all those picks, all of them. The issue I see is having them all together in one squad. The more selection headaches, the more chance there is of benching good points hauls which can lead to frustration and point hits. I could easily be wrong but that’s how I see it. The less tough calls each week the better, especially numerous self inflicted one’s when on a wildcard. Ask Nitro about benching issues 😉

      Brookyboy says:

I agree with a lot of what Nin says.I’d downgrade Cech to a cheap playing keeper and just play Forster every week.Switch Van Dijk to a Chelsea defender and how about swapping Payet to Antonio for your 5th mid. Those moves should leave you a tidy amount of cash in the bank to then upgrade Siggy or you could rotate him with Antonio and save the cash for a rainy day.

      • inwhiterooms says:

        Cheers guys.

        Cech/Payet/Siggy to Elliot/Sanchez/Antonio?

Not so sure I want to double up on Ozil and Sanchez. Feel like I’d just end up overspending elsewhere where I quite like the balance and lack of GW30 blank players in the team above.

Super keen on holding VVD, happy to double up with Forster.

    • 150.4

I’d not be switching to Antonio just yet.
Taken off for Eminike last game when pushing for the win. Carroll also back in

Bilic was switching from counter attack to attack, which is what Norwich & Villa games are likely be as well. So Antonio could be bench warming against the ‘lesser’ teams from now on.
