Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 30 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW30 is live! A much reduced game-week sees just the five games taking place this week due to the FA Cup. If you planned ahead accordingly and can field a full X1 this week then well done and it may be a great chance to get a jump on those mini-league rivals who were maybe not so diligent. We have images flashing through our mind of many a player logging on last night and shouting “say what?!”, before having to take a good few hits! The Famous Five begins with Norwich attempting to keep Kun and co quiet at lunchtime, good luck with that, and then we have just two more games on Saturday as Bournemouth tackle Swansea and Southampton travel up to Stoke, lucky them. Super Sunday sees Spurs go to Villa to see how many they can knock past them and then the game-week concludes on Monday evening as Leicester do likewise against the equally hapless Toon.

[clear]

Saturday in full, as such…

Norwich vs Man City 12.45

Bournemouth vs Swansea 15.00

Stoke vs Southampton 15.00

Sunday…

Aston Villa vs Spurs 16.00

And Monday…

Leicester vs Newcastle 20.00

DGW’s in waiting
The 10 games definitely off and that need to be rescheduled, probably for a DGW in 34 or 37, are as follows –

Liverpool v Everton
Man City v Newcastle
Man United v Crystal Palace
West Ham v Watford
Liverpool v Chelsea
Sunderland v Everton
West Ham v Man United
Arsenal v West Brom
Crystal Palace v Everton
Norwich v Watford

So that’s –
3 for Everton
2 for Liverpool
2 for West Ham
2 for Watford
2 for Man United
2 for Crystal Palace

And 1 for –
Man City
Newcastle
Chelsea
Sunderland
Arsenal
West Brom
Norwich

Everton may have to break the ‘rules’ and go cap in hand to UEFA to feature on a CL night in GW35 or something just to fit theirs in. All will be revealed soon!

    Hi guys.
When are you all planning to Wildcard if you have your BB and TC left? Is it wisely to do it now or should you wait to GW 33?
If you do it now you can benefit from the points until the DGW but if you wait you really can get the in form players. What do you think?
    I have two FT.

Hi viktor, don’t forget you are narrowing your pool of players down if you intend to go for 15 DGW’ers and BB so it’s probably best to wait until 33. Saving a FT will be handy also in this scenario as you can leave in a player with a good 33 who doesn’t have a double and switch those accordingly for 34. Ideally then I’d be trying to come out of 34 with 2 FT’s ahead of 35 to either fix the team back up a bit or with an eye on the next double which will likely be 37 but 35 may come into play for Everton given their mess of a backlog.

thinking of 4 possible transfer moves:

    1. eriksen—payet/firmino
    2. ivanovic—-kompany/bellerin
    3. Daniels—olsson

I have 0.3m in the bank and 1FT left… any suggestion regarding starting XI, team and cap woule be very much appreciated

Morning all I think I have totally blown my season not captaining Kane just gone further back. My doubles team on the other hand is in the top 10k so must be doing something right. 😉

Hey Init / Cookie you about changed my cricket team for this nk phase starting to climb up league now thk I’m up to 19th this looks a bit tougher with only 20 transfers possibly 2 a game what’s your strategy 😉

Hey Silvers, just done mine now. Basically loaded up on the first 2 or 3 games, threw Buttler in there for later. There are 10 games in this phase and 20 transfers so just working toward 2 per game seems logical enough and should see you field 4 or 5 players in each one if you plan it properly around when each team features next / the soonest.

    Hi all,

I must say that I am still undecided about the propect to WC for a 15 players DGW team in GW34.
That would mean for instance a team with no ot little Leicester coverage for Sunderland(33) and Swansea (35); no or little Spurs coverae for West Brom (34) and Stoke (33); and the loss of lots of cash to rebuy the likes of Mahrez, Kane or Alli.
I would value the risk of building a heavy DGW for GW37 much lower.

In my mind, GW34 would have to look much more juicy than GW37 to justify unbalancing my team and burning money with 4 GWs yet to come…
But we’ll see thing much better by the end of the weeks once most games will have been announced, I guess.

Problem with the latter GW’s is rotation. Especially GW38.

      • Vinci says:

        I hadn’t thought about it…
Holding the WC for GW37 would also be a gambling that many teams would still have something important to play then. But the champion and the top 4 are already decided, there won’t be any logic any more…
Shit, another reason to overthink my strategy!

        • Raziel says:

Another reason is your chips. I’ve only played AOA! So I have bench boost and triple captain left. I def want to use TP on a Kun or similar striker, however you can’t use it the week you ummm wildcard. So lets say I want to wildcard for GW34, I’d have to use it in GW33 if I want to use TP in GW34, if that makes sense? And I def. think that GW34 will be the best week to use TP. On that note, lets say you use wildcard and can play 15 players, than bench boost would overrule TP! Omg, everything is about the DGW right now, what choices to make. Hmm, another reason why you can WC before GW34 is because most teams that have a DGW in GW34, will also have one in GW37 (Everton, Arsenal, United, Watford). Though United has a blank in GW35. Bwahaha. Anyway, I might sound disturbed and crazy, but all this thinking and planning ahead has just put in me in the 24k. ^^

        • Vinci says:

Well, to be the bench boost benefits the most from the WC… You can certainly fit your preferred player and future TC for GW34 in your team 4 GWs in advance 😉
And Kun will probably only have one DGW, won’t he? Probably GW34…
So that would be one argument for WC in DGW37!

        • Raziel says:

Fielding 15 is possible in GW34. I think in GW37 rotation already is a worry again. I def. don’t see certain players like Rojo play both games then. But who knows.

So any news on DGW? Anything but talk about cricket will do. 😉
