Soooo WC went well!
Any ideas for Jagielka replacement? 0 itb
Reid ? Leicester defender and double up ?
Great minds…
Reid?
Must feel like a masterstroke saving your wildcard now huh ?? Good will power mate.
Thanks, feels a lot better today than yesterday. Yesterday was a shocker but in a good position now.
Sanchez’s form (who I will TC rather than BB) and doubts over Liverpool/Everton clinched it in the end. Hopefully there’s still enough to play for GW37 that it’s not totally unpredictable.
Any reason why no one thought on Alberto Moreno? I was thinking in buying him for the next GW, but for some reason everyone transfered in Sakho….
A rotation risk but seems the whole Pool team are…….
Nervous about game time with Jon Flanagan back (if he is indeed back – anyone any idea why he hasn’t been in the squad) and potential rotation because of the Europa League (which apparently Flanagan isn’t eligible for).
A rotation risk, oh and hes been playing shite. Probably kept his place today on the back of a decent showing in Dortmond.
I did!
Evening all,
Well that WC team went well. No coutinho, KDB benched and most of the players I sold ( Ali, Vardy, siggy & toby) all score.
Those double gamers better pay me back next week!
Anyone else with wild card regrets?
Same boat. Can I take my wildcard back??
Lost 30 points this week against my ML rivals that didn’t wildcard. Thanks to Toby, Vardy, Alli…..
Lukaku hatty midweek would do nicely
Thing is if it wasn’t for these bloody chips and wanting to play them during the dgw we would have played our wildcard during gw34 and would have been in a much clearer position.
That’s very true Brooky.
That Sanchez TC I was planning to do better pay off too
And a much better one right now. But hey, you can but plan, try and hope. Let’s see what it all looks like after next week….
Currently on 50 this week with Alli and Alderweireld to come off my bench thanks to Sagna and Coutinho not playing. I have Robles and Lukaku still to play with the captains armband on Lukaku. Any suggestions on what to do with this team for next week? Happy to take a hit.
Igy, are you bench boosting this week? Much depends on that or if you’re just looking to field 11.
I am still unsure Cookie! I have both TC and BB chips left to play and not sure which way around to use them. My only concern with getting too many DGW players this week is that the majority do not play next week so could end up taking lots of hits to field a team next GW. What are your thoughts?
Igy, my thoughts are, and I haven’t changed here, that folk, when wildcarding or just making transfers, should be doing it with GW35 in mind.
I am going to sound like Harry Hindsight here, but I think this game-week has proved that 15DGWs is not the answer when you view total score of 3 GWs – add in rotation, other SGW players performing (we all know which ones!), injuries, other fixtures impacting on team selection.
Personally I favour TC for 34 and then BB in 37 when we will know who is out of the FA Cup, City and Liverpool may or may not still be in Europe and there are less distractions elsewhere.
I may be wrong, I probably am, but that’s just my take on it.
Igy, I should add that of course there are many variables to my view and what may suit some, may not suit other teams. If someone has planned for BB in 34, I personally don’t think it’s a great plan to suddenly change, in general. It may work for some, but generally it’s best to stick to a well thought out and constructed plan.
Thanks Cookie, some useful insight there. I have 8 DGW players at the moment (including both keepers so only 7 I could field if I don’t use BB) but I only have 11 outfield players for GW35 and no playing keeper which I could effectively sort out after this week so that I can field 11 next week. I feel as though I am in the middle of your logic above. I could TC this week and wait and see what happens for GW37 with regards to BB but then by that point the league could be wrapped up, Champions League places secured and so not much to play for in the last couple of games. Really in two minds what to play. Any suggestions from the team above in who to get in and who to TC if I was to use that this week?
Alexis or Aguero Igy
Okay, pretty crappy week but I got cappoo Lukaku, Ward and ummmm Lennon left, I hope. Anyway. Sitting on 43 points plus 8 point Simpson to come from my bench. Hope the Wednesday game will do me good.
Does anyone know if Cech is going to get game time next week? If not I need to shift him out and onto another keeper. Especially as DGW!! I already have Kasper but don’t want to sell as he is in the points right now.
I need to know too! I got him last week because I was building my team with the free transfers to have a good team for next week…and I haven’t had a Gk for the last two weeks…ffs! He’s fit and after the 3 goals west ham scored I’m pretty sure he’ll play next week.
He’ll play both games.
