Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 20GW34 is live! And what a way to start this double gameweek. A lunch time kick-off to get the blood boiling and the accusations of plagiarizing floating. Oh when the Saints/Spurs go marching in, oh when the… Nothing like a sing off to lay claim to a song by, errr an American? Well after that episode of X-factor we get six 3pm games. Including the relegation derby between Foxes and Clarets. But that is not the only fixture with relegation in the equation, Hull visit Palace in a game they must have. QPR running out of chances face the best possible match up as the Hammers have been laying down for all opposition. Sunderland visit the Britannia as they also battle for survival. In the “who cares” game of the week we have Newcastle hosting the Swans. Liverpool visit the Baggies in the first game in their double, as they look to lock up a Europa League spot. Hee hee, sorry that was uncalled for. In the last Saturday game, legend Tim Sherwood (teacher) takes on Pelligrini (student) in what promises to be a chance to count empty seats.

Sunday brings us two tasty fixtures. First the Toffees host the Fellaini led United side. One can only imagine the tears shed as Everton fans remember how lucky they were to have had the Mop, but that is all in the past now. He is sole property of the Manchester club now and their -kick it high, kick it long and let Afro bring it down- style. Sunday also treats us to the best ‘on paper’ fixture of the gameweek. The Emirates will be the sight when old Gunner favourite Mourinho brings in his eleven behind the ball side to probably grab a scoreless draw or eek out a 1-0 win. For the sake of our footy entertainment, we hope Arsenal miraculously scores first, that way the Chelsea ‘forward’ can stop holding hands with Courtois and is forced to actually take up an attacking position.

After one day off we welcome the second game for Hull and Liverpool. Hopefully this will see our DGW investments take the pitch and not be rested. Surely Hull will play their best XI with so much on the line, but will Liverpool?

In the last affair of the gameweek, we have Leicester looking to grab something, anything from the soon to be champs. Who knows how Jose will play this one out, will he finally give some of his players a rest? Hopefully you invested wisely and have picked the guys that Jose will utilize in this the tastier of their double gameweek.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

  1. How about this. All my defence got clean sheets. All my strikers scored goals.
I think that’s the first time that’s happened for me.
All my midfield got 3 points each.

    71 points 10 to play

  2. How on earth does JT not get 3 bps for that performance. I don’t even….aaaaarrrgh!

  3. Hi buddies
    What can I say?
    – 8 points on transfers
    41 points with bonus

Sterling, Cambiasso, Terry, Skrtel, Fabregas and Hazard (C) are still available.
Hope that at least 3 of them (Hazard included) Make a great performance

    • Interman – you mean a net 33 or net 41?

either way you are well set up for a big score I think

      • hey Dreamers
        net 33….

My rival is 16 points ahead of me but he only have left Hazard (not cap) Ivanovic and Mignolet.
I think I can still win this month

  4. So still have a shout for 3rd in one of my mini leagues , how I dont know but anyway

There is 30 points between us with him ahead.

    Players to play

Me: Ivanovic, Terry, Hazard (c), Sterling, Moreno or Koscielny = 6 to play
Him: Ivanovic, Hazard, Coutinho, Elmohamady = 4

Surely I can pull a decent big back on him this week?

    • Dreamers, you can pull 30 back and win by the end. There’s a DGW to go yet. Post his team and yours?

      • Hi Init -the first is his with 2.6 ITB, the second mine with nothing ITB.

        • Ok mate. Give me a bit, need to study it. First impressions are that he’s at least one step ahead though with 1 extra DGW37 player and cash to spare!

        • 2 extra

        • cheers mate

        • Ok. Nothing drastic required in my opinion. He is snookered on getting the main 2 Arsenal guys – Giroud and Sanchez. He can get 1. You get both. How you do that I’m not sure but you’ll need to lose a big player somewhere. Silva out is no issue as he doesn’t have him but I’d be more inclined to keep him for that reason and actually lose Hazard. Controversial I know but money wise he equals Sanchez and once the title is won I’ve no idea if Chelsea will be bothered. Giroud is the issue. How do we raise funds for him? Erik or Sterling may have to go for a cheapie.

        • Was looking at Adam, seems to be in a bit of form and Stoke havent given up. Losing Hazard is pretty controversial alright. I guess closer to gw37 it might feel a little more right

        • That’s what I’m thinking. Giroud now, well now ish, once we have funds, and do Sanchez in 37.

        • cheers Init

  5. Hoping Moreno/Sterling/Coutinho/Terry/Ivanovic/Hazard can save my GW next Tuesday and Wednesday. *sighs*

When disaster strikes, it strikes hard. >.<

    • 30 points netto for me. 😉

    • Hardly a disaster Raz, so much potential for points left to play mate, and a great ranking to boot… Hoping Moreno plays myself, as taking a hit for a non playing double game weeker is a bitter pill to swallow (especially when I took out someone who gets a clean sheet sad ) ouch…

      • Took a hit for Moreno and Coutinho myself. Liverpool were so freaking poor. Anyway. The guys I took out didn’t do that good themselves, Mata and Toby. Hoping Moreno’s knock will be good, however last thing I read said that he wouldn’t make it.

        • The articles I am seeing are only stating that due to the short turnaround as opposed to anything else.

        • Hope that’s wrong and he gets a game against Hull And QPR ! I could have put anyone in but wanted to save some cash for Giroud… Moreno hasn’t been good for me as I bought him earlier in the season after he scored a wonder goal against Spurs (I think) and he did bugger all once I got him sad

        • Same. TOok a punt on Coutinho because he was supposed to be magic, f-ing Henderson looked way more dangerous versus WBA. Anyway. Was either Henderson plus Skrtel or Moreno plus Coutinho. Guess which I picked. >.<

        • Easy game with hindsight though Raz. Given a time machine you would have done the same transfers as Moreno and Coutinio have so much more attacking potential in comparison. Saying that I did put Henderson in but only because his points to price ratio is better than Coutinio’s.

        • I know mate. smile

  6. Just seen this. Hope it’s wrong…

@empireofthekop – Alberto Moreno injury update – defender unlikely to feature against Hull City http://t.co/23qU73H1qt http://t.co/wH0L6uYHAK

    • That’s the piece of trash I read. >.<

    • he will play and they will concede. I can see it

      • Pool fans obviously don’t like him. That’s what I read anyway.

      • I seem to remember Hull have beaten Liverpool at the KC in the not so distant past. Wouldn’t be surprised if it happened again.

Ideal results for my team would be 1-0 to Liverpool (goal by Hendo, nothing by Coutinho* or Sterling* and clean sheets for Moreno and Skrtel) and 1-1 between Chelsea and Leicester – no clean sheet for Schlupp, but also no clean sheets for Terry* and Ivanovic*, a Fabregas goal as he’s in my team and not my rival’s and the Leicester goal to not be scored by Vardy*. Moreno and Schlupp playing at all would be a bonus, if I’m honest.

        *in my rival’s team!
