And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games but they span 3 days and Man City kick us off on Saturday lunchtime when they host Stoke. Saturday is then a short affair with just the 3 games, all kicking off at 3pm before Sunday brings us Sunderland and Arsenal at 2.05pm and then a Vardy-less Leicester who host Swansea at 4pm. I Hope everyone’s coping well with rotation this week. I have a number of players who need to go and would ask advice about who to prioritise.
DDG, Robles
Bellerin, Smalling, Simpson, Gabriel, Lovren
Sanchez, Ali, KDB, Coutinho, Lingard
Kane, Aguero, Mitrovic. 1.1 ITB.
Coutinho, KDB and Mitrovic are obvious candidates as far as I can see. I’m looking at Defoe, Payet and ????. Any advice?
KDB > Hazard/Pedro/Fab (Flair move)
Cout > Payet
Mitro > Defoe
Can’t argue with that. I’m likely to have all 3 in my wildcard.
Lanzini another option if you want to double up on west ham or save funds.
+1 but also maybe look at getting rid of Lingard as I’m not sure he’ll get much gametime.

Wont suggest a hit this GW. Mitro > Defoe is sufficient this GW. Take a hit next GW to prepare for DGW. Would also give your more insight into rotations (Cout) and form (Haz). Prioritizing Defoe this GW because of Stoke’s form only.

Who here still thinks Spurs has a chance to win the league?
Leicester needs to lose the last 3 games (against United, Everton and Chelsea, which is possible on paper), and Spurs needs to win all of the upcoming games (WB, Chelsea, SOTON and Newcastle).
Am I the only one who is an optimist here?
I think they can B. I reckon Spurs will win their 4 remaining games and it will come down to Leicester’s mental strength.
Leicester could win 2, draw 1, lose 1 and lose the league. Today is huge for them.
Of course Spurs can win it.
Leicester will be 2 points clear on the final day and lose at Chelsea whilst Spurs only manage a draw at Newcastle, amazing scenes

My one week punt on Shane Long paid off. Although slightly annoyed there were no bonus points. but you cant have it all your own way.
So I’m played my wild card this week ahead of BB for GW37. What do you all think of this team? I’d ideally like more DGW players but don’t want to end up in a situation like most people did for the last DGW in dropping Kane, Alli etc.
I’ve taken out Schmeichel, Clyne, Gabriel, Fosu-Mensah, Coutinho, Ozil, Long.
Team looks good mate the only thing I dont like is Lingard but you haven’t really got much choice there.

I reckon you can still get in a few more DGW players, if you are using BB you might as well make the most of it.

Smart move going for Defoe. He has been on my mind but my first priority was to buy back Kane. And shipping out either Kun or Sturridge seemed idiotic, so Rashford it was.
