Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat
And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games but they span 3 days and Man City kick us off on Saturday lunchtime when they host Stoke. Saturday is then a short affair with just the 3 games, all kicking off at 3pm before Sunday brings us Sunderland and Arsenal at 2.05pm and then a Vardy-less Leicester who host Swansea at 4pm. Spurs and West Brom then see us out on Monday night at 8pm. The fixtures in full…

Can any logical person please explain how Alli is getting 3 bps? He beat one player all night and just passed the ball side wards? Getting them by some distance as well…

Well from what was generally a pretty dire GW (except seeing the wonderful Leicester accede to the Prem throne), I managed to salvage a crumb of victory by the closest possible margin. In my BB H2H top of the table Championship clash, I went into last night 2 pts behind, with his Alderwld, Alli and Kane (c) to my Erik, Kane (c). No chance.
At an hour up to 9 pts adrift with Spurs still to concede, at final whistle Alli on 3 bps and my match still over by 7 pt margin. Awake this morning to see Erik credited (rightly) with assist with moved him from 0 bps to the full 3, just 2 opta its in front of Alli, leading me, with assist 3 pts as well its to win by a single pt. Don’t get much closer than that, and probably the first week all season I have felt anything like happy with FPL.
Small mercies in a torrid season but even that makes it worthwhile. 1 H2H pointt now off top 3 (and hopefully) promotion to the big league. At last – I have something to play for. smile
On the question of what changes to chips, mine would without doubt be to have both WC’s available at ANY stage of the season.
Been a great football season but in FPL terms have had to re align whole strategy going into next, so guess that is a good thing. Must say preferred things before though without extra chips.
Still got BB, WC, TC and AOA (the latter of which I won’t play) so hoping to break 100k again and match the 74k and 70k finishes of last 2 seasons, with a following wind.
Good luck all and seen some great scoring from you guys in the hardest of seasons which has broken almost every FPL norm- signs of the real talent among you.
