GW38 is live! Well this is it folks. Another long, hard fought, probably disappointing season, of near misses and WTF was I thinking captain choices has fallen by the way-side. Unless of course you were one of the chosen few that the FPL Gods showed mercy on and got good consistent scores. As per custom in GW38 all games kick-off at 3pm on Sunday. A bit left to play out when it comes to who holds which spots in the Europa and who is the third team to drop to the Championship. And for any of you holding onto a coveted spot in a mini league there is still a lot to play for. As we all know one really bad GW could put a sour ending to a great season. So we hope you were aware of any hints on who was definitely playing and who could be on early vacation. so you are not left shaking your head in disgust all summer long…

Well was a personal best for me at 26000 and something position, was aiming for top 50k so pretty chuffed, looks like next season is gonna be tough as the only way now is to aim for top 10k – cant wait and missing it already!

Just so you know (not that it matters at this stage) both fantasy247 and premier league sites work fine in Sharm El Sheikh but selecting the team whilst someone keeps trying to sell you a boat trip doesn’t work so well, was considering getting Wally in but just did the transfers quick and intervened when this boat guy was giving the mrs a hard seem! Gonna find him tomorrow, book the boat to myself and tell him to take us somewhere where we’re likely to see some sharks – you can guess what’s gonna happen next!

Ended in the top 5k. Considering how the last few months went that’s pretty decent I guess. What have I learned? Rarely a hit pays off. 😉
Top 5k? What am I saying, ended 4462. :dance: Pretty decent since it’s only my third season. First season could’ve ended up in the top 50k but ruined those chances by taking a 16 point hit in GW38.
Last season everything got messed up because I didn’t know what to follow, my own gut, that of the site or other peoples advise. Got sort of the best of nothing. ALso had 2 accounts which really sucked.
This season just 1 account and that helps.
Anyway, wanted to thank everybody working hard for this site. Surely the writers: Cookie, Init, Kop, Mito, Gallant, NIN, Chins, Lawdogg, Potty, Bryan and Lawdogg. Sorry if I forgot any. But also their family’s, keeping up with their anti-social behavior. Now you guys have about 3 months of real life. Make the best of it. :big-lol:

Evening all, well a paltry 34pts for me this week, all them goals flying in and i only got 1, Aguero. Never mind i’ve finished with a rank of 25,450, happy with that with all my troubles at the start of the year.
I would like to add that next season i will not be doing monthly round ups anymore, most of the people i mention never come on site and post, so we haven’t got a scooby-doo who they are. But seeing as i’ll have free time i’m starting a new league on here for regular posters only, there will also be a cup comp for us all to enjoy, a sort of League Cup as Bench runs an FA Cup comp, and i don’t want to devalue his Banterbury comps. Happy summer to all.

What happens if it was a draw in your final of your head 2 head league?
Mine was 45 all.
Normal rules for a drawn cup win
1. Team with most goals scored wins.
2. If the above is the same then the team that conceded the least wins.
3. If they both tie then it’s a virtual coin toss.
If its in the league, same as EPL 1pt each.
Does a player on the bench who scored (albrighton) count towards the team with most goals?
I don’t think so, I think they have to be in your starting eleven to count but admittedly I’ve never seen it in action before.
