GW38 is live! Well this is it folks. Another long, hard fought, probably disappointing season, of near misses and WTF was I thinking captain choices has fallen by the way-side. Unless of course you were one of the chosen few that the FPL Gods showed mercy on and got good consistent scores. As per custom in GW38 all games kick-off at 3pm on Sunday. A bit left to play out when it comes to who holds which spots in the Europa and who is the third team to drop to the Championship. And for any of you holding onto a coveted spot in a mini league there is still a lot to play for. As we all know one really bad GW could put a sour ending to a great season. So we hope you were aware of any hints on who was definitely playing and who could be on early vacation. so you are not left shaking your head in disgust all summer long…

Wow, the leader in the MLS Boss FPL league took a -8 this week for Fonte, Gomez, Defoe -> Janmaat (c), Ayoze, Albrighton. Mata benched, along with Monreal and Skrtel! I’ll be disgusted if he beats me to that league. Just one point in it at the moment.
I’d just like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone at ff247 for your hard work and dedication this season. Being my first year of FPL I was at times unsure of a few things but thanks to you guys it has been an extremely enjoyable year. I will most definitely be going round again next season. Aimed for top 200k at the start of the season and currently ranked 58k, largely because of ff247. Cheers lads!

He obviously had 2 free transfer.

As for my main team, 15 Pts down on leader of the prestige league I have won last two years. Season long bragging rights and just two of us left in frame. Decided to go out fighting so three transfers for a -4 so now 19 Pts behind. But now there are differentials all over the park. Can’t wait for 3pm. Fact that it’s gone to last week just means those 90 mins are what this is all about. Excitement, anticipation and hope. It means a lot. Hope many others in same position and get to enjoy the twists and turns to follow. My season rests on two guys that might not even start. Excellent.
