Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung…did you play your wildcard or have you decided to hold onto it a little longer? Some will be happy with their decision while others will castigate themselves! The first game-week after an international break always makes for fun and games as we have to deal with those ‘international injuries’. Costa is injured, or is he?! Ramsey is injured, or is he?! The game-week kicks off with Arsenal hosting City at lunchtime today and we wrap things up on Monday night with an equally glamourous tie as Hull ‘entertain’ West Ham. Oh and in between there’s the small matter of United potentially rolling out another three debutants.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW4 from all at FF247!

Rooney blank later today = Terry/Rooney -> Baines/Adebayor (c) and then WC next week.

Rooney brace and my plan is ruined…

Its a testament to my terrible start that I have green arrows this week….

Morning all. Well: 4 weeks in, 34 weeks to go, trust me Dreamers I fully expect that you’ll be able to surpass the 7k mark that you set last season.

      • TheDreamers says:

not sure about that. A CS today from DeGea and some magic by ADM would be nice today.

good start by you there James. Moving the right direction.

        • jamesimmo says:

On paper that looks probable! Let’s see if LvG cracks it today.

Cheers mate. But at this stage of the season, everyone’s so compactly placed together, so your current ranking looks worse than it is…

If I’d captained Costa I’d be inside the top 10k.

If I has Naismith instead of Costa I’d be ranked 230k.

Just goes to show the fine margins of error at this stage!

      Lol @ Dreamers
Hmmm, was ranked with top 14K. Now 99K, hahaha. Though, after today I should go up again. I have 3 players + captain remaining. Most managers have just 1 player remaining. SO that’s good news. Unless they will all pull of a f-ing John Terry. Terry has been terrible for me, haha.

SHould I sell dude? Yeah right? But for which defender?

      • jamesimmo says:

I’m considering downgrading Terry so I have enough Rooney —–> Agüero the following week. Have 1.3m in the bank already so should be easy. Chelsea’s defence can start clicking at any moment though right?

      • TheDreamers says:

If United look solid today, perhaps look at Rojo?

who is your captain today? Should rise quite a bit I would think with effectively 4 players to score.

        • Raziel says:

          @ James
Yeah, knowing Mourinho he can go full mental and use the same tactics as he used last season when he played big teams (early in the season) away, 100 percent commitment to defending. Hmmm. Would be a smart move since Chelsea are already a few points ahead of the other topteams (including City). A draw would actually be a win for Chelsea, that’s how Mou will see it.

          @ Dreamers
Already have DDG, Di Maria and Rooney. Rooney is my captain by the way.

        • jamesimmo says:

Tough isn’t it. If you kept Terry, would you bench him for vs City away, or bet on a tight cagey game and play him regardless?

I’m really not sure what to do RE my defence this week.

          – Taylor and Clyne playing each other.
          – Terry away vs City.
          – Duff (in form) home vs Burnley.
          – Now, to add to it all, Chambers away vs Villa.

If Amat (SWA) is out for the foreseeable, will Bartley get a look in?

Cant wait to see the new look United team today. Hopefully all have bedded in well and we can start picking up some points.

57 Points till now with DDG to play. Used my WC last week to get this.
    DDG
    Ivanovic Moore Duff
    Sterling Siggy Fabregas Ward Prowse
    Naismith (c) Aguero Costa.
    bench- Myhill Kompany Mirallas Colloccini

wish would have played Mirallas and captained Costa.
however m happy taking d risk by going with Moore and Duff paid off greatly.
