Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung…did you play your wildcard or have you decided to hold onto it a little longer? Some will be happy with their decision while others will castigate themselves! The first game-week after an international break always makes for fun and games as we have to deal with those ‘international injuries’. Costa is injured, or is he?! Ramsey is injured, or is he?! The game-week kicks off with Arsenal hosting City at lunchtime today and we wrap things up on Monday night with an equally glamourous tie as Hull ‘entertain’ West Ham. Oh and in between there’s the small matter of United potentially rolling out another three debutants.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW4 from all at FF247!

Evening all! How has your day been? Just got back from an awesome day at Anfield and it looks like my team has done well with 68 points, with Mata, Rooney and Chester to play.

Looking to do Dzeko > Adebayor and Phil Jones > Taylor (Swansea) to make the team below with £1.1m in the bank (4-point hit). What do you reckon?

Daaamn thats a very good score. I got 35 with only Rooney, DDG and ADM playing. SHOULD HAVE CAPPOED COSTA!!!! So annoying! Had a few pints..hope I would forget..but no, it hurts!!! laugh

      • jamesimmo says:

Cheers KungFu, aye it is a nice round score, but everyone else near the top of my mini-league captained Costa! It could’ve been so much better…

Hard luck mate. Still, if United finally buck their ideas up, then you may just be back in business! smile haha I’ve had a few at a friend’s 18th and it’s still on my mind too! laugh

On to the next eh! #ComeOnRooney

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

I will be back in business if Rooney scores 2 with 2 ADM assists and a DDG clean sheet. If not. Well…there is always next GW!! Feels quite bad when you have red arrows all over the place. Going to bed like that just ain’t right!! laugh
You must have mixed feeling about Arsenal today…they coulda won that game with a bit more luck (or more Welbeck precision)!

        • jamesimmo says:

Well good luck! No one likes a red arrow.

I watched the game live with a mate and told him ‘Sanchez and Welbeck’ when we were 1-0 down… knew we’d come back and was delighted… but Demichelis of all people! Arghhhh, it’s a shame, but we’re still undefeated so I can’t complain.

Welbeck should settle in very nicely by the looks of things!

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

Welbeck…Oooh Welbeck..how I wished he was only on loan. Even if he has not scored as much as RVP or Rooney I think that given a chance as center forward he might shine. LVG said that Welbeck does not have the record of RVP. BUT..at his age Welbeck has scored more than RVP! You got yourself a bargain in my eyes. The next Henry?? 😉
Nice to see such a game live! I will be off to see Falcao live in 2 weeks! 😉

        • jamesimmo says:

Haha exactly! He’s not had much of a chance at club level so far… hope he can develop further and become Bergkamp’s reincarnation 😉

Ahh nice, vs West Ham? smile should be a class experience!

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

Welbeck could be a mix of Kanu and Henry. Not too shabby huh?? laugh
Yep indeed vs West Ham. Just hoping that big Sam does not park the bus. I wanna see goals galore. Falcao and ADM in the PL should be quite something!
Watching games live makes it that much better! laugh I would like to go to the Emirates one day as well as Anfield soon…should be quite an atmosphere!
Anywhoo….its 2 am here and time to catch some Zzzzzzzz’s
So nighty night and catch you on the flipside! smile

50 points this GW, I drunkenly made the mistake of going onto FPL last night to get Adebayor in when I found out my love Hernandez hadnt been granted the work permit, I then changed the captaincy from Costa to Sterling! THE PAIN!

Let’s have a moment of silence for the 16 points we’ve all lost.

      • KungFuKingCantona says:

Well if you had Sterling cappo its more like 32 points lost! OUCH!! I feel the pain social drinker. Will get a sip of Gin in your honour before heading out!

        • TETH, Social drinker and firm believer of the Abel Hernandez bandwagon. says:

Horrible, horrible feeling! Im too upset even to drink a beloved short! It’ll be bottles tonight, stay up for the Mayweather fight and lie to my boss in the morning about being hungover!

        • jamesimmo says:

          2 + 17 or 1 + 34

          That’s 16 points lost lads.

Not so bad afterall eh? 😉 …absolutely gutted.

        • TETH, Social drinker and firm believer of the Abel Hernandez bandwagon. says:

I have made so many mistakes this year, Siggy on the bench the first week, Pieters on the bench last week and the captain error this week! Even the number 66 is more attractive than 50, in every way 😉

        • jamesimmo says:

Ah that’s unlucky mate, both unforseeable, really. I’ve made many more minor errors that really do add up. Sterling (c) over Costa is the biggest one yet.

With Costa (c) this week I’d be ranked inside the top 10k and 1st in all 4 of my leagues. I guess that’s just be too easy haha! So many ifs and buts… no point in fretting over them, but well, that’s easier said than done!

17 mate, seven-fucking-teen, on the plus side I did change out Balotelli for Aguero so if I hadnt have went on I wouldnt have made those changes! And my defence did awful, Ivanovic, Pieters and Moreno, 1 point each! What is my life coming to haha

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

TETH–> My maths skills after a few drinks are close to being those of a slightly retarded bonobo monkey! But fact of the matter..we are all gutted haha!
Now hoping Rooney pulls 3 or 4 rabbits out of his hat!!

Taking a hit and brought in Sterling+DiMaria for Ramsey/Mata. sad
Hmmm. As it stands now it’s 1 versus 5 (not even counting the hit, hehehe). So Di Maria has to outscore Mata by 8 tomorrow. All he needs to do is the same thing as he did versus Germany. GO DI MARIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! laugh

Owww ffs, I just noticed. If Debuchy didn’t leave the pitch injured I’d have gotten f-ing Hutton with his master score. Hahaha. laugh
