Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game and even that ones hard to call given the inconsistencies of both. We then have five 3pm kick offs and the day is rounded off as West ham host Liverpool in the evening game at 5.30pm. Sunday sees Leicester vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Brom, both at 1.30pm followed by two 4pm games as Everton host Palace and the big one of the weekend that sees Man City square up to Chelsea.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW5 from all at FF247!

  1. Would I be mental to go:

    DDG to Heaton
    Rooney to Pelle
    JWP to DiMaria

for an 8 pt hit tonight?

    • Just look at Cookies comment below. If you’ve extra cash ITB hold out till Friday.

      • Cheers Hammer. I do have extra cash. I’m just feeling a rush of blood after what happened this afternoon. United fan you see!!!

        • No need to panic. I’d rather spend and extra 0.1/.2 mill (max) on Friday than do and 8 point hit and lose one of them to injury. I’m against hits but I like your plan, maybe a better keeper than Heaton for 4.5m this CS streak will end soon!

        • Thanks for the advice and ideas. You’ve calmed me down!

  2. Would be doing nothing till Friday but how does Lamela to Tadic sound?

My front 3 is Aguero, Costa & Ulloa so I’m not looking at Pelle.

    • Join #TeamTadic – it’s a small community – and a frustrated one too!

    • Hi Hammer, given their respective fixtures this week (Ars away and QPR home) I’d say yes that’s a good move. Southampton do go to Spurs the week after though which may be more difficult. Although looking at today’s results maybe not!

  3. Evening!
Considering doing Naismith out for Ulloa, but not at all sure!

Have anyone seen Leicester’s games and can say anything about this guy? Todays game is the only one I’ve seen from Leicester so far.

    • Think that’s a move most are considering this week.

    • Evening Ritz. He’s caused all kinda of problems. Strong physical player and good in the air I think. Naismith to Ulloa would be a sound move but hold fire for now.

    • Cheers guys. I’ll try to wait until Wednesday. Wanted to go for Welbeck but I’m .1 short.. Ulloa will leave me room to upgrade Rooney come next week if it’s necessary.

    • Evening Ritz
Ulloa will be on most radars now after his last 3 gw’s and with Palace, Burnley and Newcastle for the next 3, he’s definitely going to worth looking at!

  4. Any thoughts on Rooney he seems to be playing to deep

    • Hey SB – not many others putting their hand up either is there though?

    • ADM looks better value if you must have a Man U midfielder. Rooney is more likely to start, but is classified as a forward so won’t score you any points for clean sheets. Not much to choose between them then, thinking about it.

  5. Watched Liverpool yesterday & Che today thought Lpool defence very poor & seem to be struggling up front without Sturridge MC looked very good & Che will be up there
