Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

Who is the best 5 million or below keeper besides Forster? I’m think for this week De Gea to 5 million keeper, Rooney out for Aguero and Silva in for Ramsey?

Cheers, should I make the transfers today? I know I should probably wait for Europe, but if I don’t makes changes today I won’t be able to afford aguero

        • Ruben says:

I would risk it. I don’t think Aguero will break during midweek matches. Go with your gut feeling. smile

          Okay cheers ruben
Mhh, should I take in Silva for a hit? Ramsey out for 6 weeks mind you. Also unsure what do about my wildcard and when to use it, have you played it? I’d probably what baines in, but that means I need to downgrade one of my ST’s to one in the 5.5 million range, to which I dont really like

Just realised Pieters isn’t playing tonight, meaning I have two playing cbs for next week, and one of them is duff (sighs a bit more)

        • Ruben says:

Well, with Aguero you’ll have MCI coverage already. I’d consider going for Ramsey out – Downing in. That way you can keep your strikers and upgrade a defender to Baines.

Okay so Pieters isn’t playing :/
Huge dilemma about who to transfer out and I guess he has just made it easy for me, annoyingly!
    McGregor (Heaton)
    Taylor Moreno Moore (Pieters Clyne)
Siggy Sterling Di Maria Silva (Zaha)
    Costa Welbeck Pelle

    Pieters to….
Got £2.5m in the bank so anything is within reach..I was thinking Azpilicueta…any better (cheaper) options?

Hi Ruben, really not sure about paying for such an expensive defender. I know the gamble is potentially huge in terms of points so I may make the call GW8 and just bench Pieters this week..

        • Ruben says:

That’s a better way to go about it. I personally don’t have Baines because I don’t believe in investing a lot of money into defenders. I was suggesting Baines for you, because you had already mentioned Azpilicueta who is £6.0, which is a price I consider high for a defender. You already have a very strong defense that you can rotate if needed. I’d ultimately look into upgrading Welbeck if I were you.

Ramsey for Nolan, Naismith for Pelle? Good moves? No hit.
