Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

I called the goal a minute before it happened. Moses assist to Crouch. Ask my dad lol

Sorry for the spam that is away to take place but I am having a dilemma sad My current team ok, and for this coming gameweek, I’m thinking De Gea out for Fabianski, and Aguero in for Rooney, but am also in the need of a replacement for Ramsey, and am thinking either Silva, Tadic, or Downing ( allows me to upgrade to Baines in the coming weeks)

However, looking at potential wildcard teams with Aguero, what’s the point in saving for Baines if I’m not going to keep him the wildcard side

However, this is another potential wildcard side with Baines, basically the question I’m asking is which team is better and are my moves this week right, also I’ve seen Pieter’s isn’t starting so he may be more important ( I’d have to change this team a bit to afford it)

      • Ruben says:

Hold on mate, I’m taking a look before I reply

      • Calvin Clyne says:

Duthers, if you’re WCing then yeah you may as well just bring Baines in now tbh. Doubtful he’ll keep a CS against United, but could always get some attacking returns and saves you a transfer next GW. If not on a WC though I’d wait until next GW.

I like this team here a lot.

Thinking at the moment of wildcarding after the international break but my team is having a few headaches at the moment ( Pieters, ramsey, Rooney) I may have to play it this week with the team I have posted above with Falcao, but i’d just have to downgrade somewhere ( Potentially Siggy to someone like Downing)

        • Calvin Clyne says:

Yeah I have to lose Ramsey for a hit this GW, but will hold out WCing for now too.

        • duthers says:

I’m thinking of Taking in Aguero over the next few weeks, as his fixtures means he will score a few, I then wildcard once United have easier fixtures to Falcao and the team I posted above. Thoughts?

      • Ruben says:

I would have to stick by what I’ve said earlier.
DDG out – Fabianski in, Ramsey out – Downing in, Rooney out – Aguero in and keep your WC. Get Baines for GW8 with the extra money from the Ramsey – Downing transfer.

Only thing i’m not sure on is Downing, the question is do I take him in now for Baines transfers next gw or do I take him in in the wildcard team and bring in Silva or tadic instead ( Both doubling up on my attack however)

        • Ruben says:

Well you might find yourself in a worse position in the future, wishing you had a WC.
Downing is playing against QPR who has conceded a whole 13 goals (second most, just behind Everton with 14) so far this season. In GW8 he’s got Burnley. Downing has 1 goal and 2 assists so far. I think he’s worth taking in for 2 weeks.

        • TheDreamers says:

Ruben – any chance Nolan takes Downings role (not place in team)?

        • Ruben says:

TheDreamers – I doubt that, have you read or heard this anywhere?

        • duthers says:

          Ruben
I’m planning on wildcarding sometime after the int break with the plan of this
          Guzan (Mannone)
          Baines, Clyne, Taylor, Duff, Moore
Sterling, Silva, Cesc, Downing or Dyer, Quinn
          Costa, Falcao, Welbeck
So I plan on having Silva and downing possibly anyway, and I see silva getting more points over the next few, so i’m veering towards silva, but if I want the max return from baines I need to take him in right after the international break, sighs ( Ive just done aguero and fab in btw 😛 )

        • TheDreamers says:

          No, just speculating myself.

Alright Duthers if you have the cash Rooney > Aguero & Ramsey > Tadic got a feeling he will score this wked save WC

So pissed Pieters isn’t starting, lol. I’ll either have Dummie with 1 or 2 points or Pieters coming on late for a 1 point. sad

    Raziel says:

Ok, peepz. Here is my dilemma. Already used my FT and this is the team I was going to field before Pieters suddenly got f-ing benched. SHould I take a hit and take in Baines whom is facing ManU. Or should I just play Hutton versus City or Chambers versus Chelsea away. Leaning towards Hutton, in all honesty. :p

Hey guys not sure what to do this week, Rooney out pelle in, but that would mean getting rid of wanyama as I have 3 Southampton players so a -4 point hit or do I look at dzeko?
