Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 7 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW7 doesn’t begin until 3PM on Saturday which feels strange but don’t be deceived by this please – the deadline remains at 11.30AM, UK time.

There are five 3pm games which are-

Hull vs Crystal Palace
Leicester vs Burnley
Liverpool vs West Brom
Sunderland vs Stoke
Swansea vs Newcastle

To conclude your Saturday entertainment Aguero and co take their considerable talent up to face Roy Keane’s beard, aka Aston Villa, at 5.30pm in the early evening kick-off.

Sky Sports’ ‘Super Sunday’ is currently under investigation after a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act last week. (*legal team edit: they’re not). They bloody well should be though. (*legal team edit: they’re really not). Either way this Sunday should prove to be much more interesting as there are four games which will all hold fantasy interest aplenty. Unlike last week (legal: clears throat) –

Man Utd vs Everton 12pm
Chelsea vs Arsenal 2.05pm
Spurs vs Southampton 2.05pm
West Ham vs QPR 4.15pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW7 from all at FF247!

Hmmm. You must really like Pool if you want Henderson now. >.<"

To be fair EBC I’d kinda agree with Raz without the benefit of hindsight! Sterling AND Henderson seemed overkill and you’d pick Sterling given 1 choice. Great call though eh?! Going well for you so far and your ranking history suggests that will continue to improve.

So I’m just starting out. I’ve played FPL before and just couldn’t be bothered setting up a team at the beginning of the season. I mainly like to go with my own choices rather than listening to others for advice on everything, but just as it’s my first week back I’d like to hear some opinions.
This is the team I’ve set up just to have something to work around. Yaya Toure and Ozil can be changed to Di Maria and Silva or something else. I don’t like investing in defence because I’ve had bad experiences with that in the past.
Is Baines worth it this year and how’s things going on with Walcott and Sturridge? I know that they’re returning from their injuries, but are they good for FPL points this year?
    Thanks in advance.

Unless you’re planning to play your WC soon, it’s a bad risk to have only one starting goalie. Another 0.5m is all it takes to have good back-up for when Mannone has a tough fixture or gets injured.

Morning Sam like your team but Def poor I know you say you don’t like investing in def but I thk you need @ least one even Bertrand would do I also thk you need some attacking cover from MU Di Maria would be my choice Baines has been consistently one of the highest point scorer in FF so yes he is worth it & Walcott & Sturridge will be high point scorers good luck

Hmmm I could transfer Yaya out for a medium priced midfielder and spread the money elsewhere. Sigurdsson, Sterling, Costa and Aguero are must-have’s to me. I’ll try to play around with the transfer thingy. Thanks for the advice!

Hey Fellas – who is the best replacement for Pieters @ 5.0?

    Current team is
    Courtois
    Clyne, Bertrand, Baines
Siggy, Lampard, Sterling, Di Maria, Schneiderlin
    Kun Aguero and Costa

res – Green, Naismith, Pieters and Moore

I only have 1 free trade.

      Hello farqs

If you want to keep Stoke coverage then Wilson would earn you .5, or Bardsley for a straight swa;, at least these two both seem to keep being picked. I swapped Pieters yesterday morning for Taylor (Swa) but I wish I’d gone for Roberston (Hul) who plays mid but is listed as def and only went and got an assist/clean sheet yesterday.

Well I have made my 2FT transfers for GW8 after the start of GW7 – why, because I wanted Baines in my defence and I thought about moving Welbeck out but decided on Sterling and Moore. I felt values would change and in the past I never did a transfer until after the international break because of possible injuries – so I hope OK and I stay around 80,000 afterwards.
