Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 9 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW9 is live! The International break is over and what better way to celebrate it than a Europa derby. That’s right perennial European patsies get us going with a lunch time affair as Klopp makes his debut vs a Spurs side who are lurking right outside their coveted Europa qualifying spot. We follow the Normal One’s debut with six 3pm fixtures. The “Special One” Sherwood takes on Average Jose at Stamford Bridge, we also see future English manager Pardew play host to the Hammers. In other action the Toffees look to continue where Arsenal left off as they play host to the recently exposed Manchester “Milli Vanilli” United. The Cherries look to take advantage of a weakened City at the Ethiad, while Raineri continues to f**k with us all with his team sheets as they visit Southampton and the New Giroud, Graziano Pelle. In the last of the 3pm games Big Sam and his latest chewing gum will look to take advantage of a West Brom side who has been leaking in goals recently. We finish our Saturday off with the Gooners in all their early season glory looking to continue their great domestic run versus Watford before they embarrass themselves in the Champions League again.

On Sunday we have one fixture…sort of. The Canaries visit Newcastle in a game that will mostly be ignored by all, and should be.

Monday sees the end of the game-week when the Swans (winless in last 4) look to get back on track against a Stoke side who, after going winless in their first six, have now won their last two.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Morning all, been quite a while since I posted on here, fairly busy with life at the moment.
Some performances this week has brought other options into play which is making things exciting. Not quote sure of my transfer this week just yet, looking forward to the articles to guide me in the right direction as usual

I see you also captained Costa over the weekend good stuff mate. Guess we hold onto him until another ban, although not having vardy is killing me. Its Kane from last season all over again!

Hi all, how did we do this weekend? Decent 63 (-4) for me at the moment with Naughton and Ayew to play. The hit was stupid- I’d decided not to do it, but hit confirm somehow clumsily on my phone and brought in Gabriel! was thinking Bellerin, but had a mad idea to gamble, and whatever happened, well, best not worrying about too much… Maybe he’ll usurp Mertesacker again in the future…

I really need to fix up my defence, and I think a hit this week is looking increasingly necessary. Kolarov has served me well and since I’ve made money on him I wouldn’t feel too bad at shipping him out. Thinking perhaps Kolarov + Francis > Bellerin + Cedric/Evans. I think perhaps sitting down and crunching through the next 6 GWs fixtures is probably a good idea, as I feel I have been fighting fires at the back since I used the Wildcard, which I can only attribute to poor planning. It’s tough to find the CS this year I feel…

Hey Pippin bad wk for me red arrows every where I thk you would be better doing Kol > Bel & Gab > Cedric do you really need to take a hit for this ???

      Hey Pippin,

I’m never convinced that taking a hit on the defence is a good idea, particularly when you can field 3. If you do go ahead with the hit I’d be inclined to move Oxford out.

Cheers Silvers and Kop. I agree, I sorta hate taking hits for defenders, which is why I’m so miffed that I messed it up last week. Overall ranking won’t suffer, but I might lose a H2H (unless Naughton keeps CS / Ayew scores…).

I think if Gabriel looks like he will play next week (vs Everton) I could just move on Oxford, which would give me whoever I brought in, Gabriel, and Naughton next week. But if Kolarov is potentially a rotation risk I might just swallow the pill and get two new defenders in this week so I am all covered. Problem is, Everton and MUFC look promising but not until after this coming GW. There are tough decisions ahead… I think my trawl of fixtures needs to happen soon…

Cheers Silvers, only reason I’m hanging onto Gomis another week is they have villa away and the alternatives have tricky fixtures.Would kinda liked to have hung onto kolorov but I guess the threat of rotation will be there with Clichy back soon and will make it easier cash wise to bring Aguero back when fit.
