And we are off!! Another season of bitter FPL disappointment for most gets rolling when Leicester travels to Old Trafford to take on Jose’s happy warriors. That Friday night fixture is followed by six more on Saturday.

A lunch time affair sees Newcastle and Spurs face off in the battle of who spent the least this transfer window. That is followed by The Cherries vs newcomers Cardiff. Fulham who is also recently promoted, tangle with Palace, Huddersfield plays host to Sarri-ball, Watford dukes it out with Brighton and in the late game we get a first look at the much talked about Wolves side when they face off vs Everton.

Sunday brings us the last three fixtures. Liverpool begin what promises to be an exciting season that is likely to end the same as most, not good enough to win anything. They will take on a new look Hammers team, that 1:30 game is accompanied by a match only a mother could love when Saints take on Burnley. The gameweek is closed out by the best game on paper. When the champions travel to the Emirates to clash with the Wenger-less Gunners.

Our Regulars League* for 2018/19 is now open and has a cash prize pool of £300 paid directly to the winners from the FF247 management team. The first 5 places are paid out in a tiered system.

To enter this one you need to be an active and recognised site member and you need to e-mail us for the league code – elleffcee@gmail.com

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

  2. 53pts in the end, not too bad I suppose, 12pts on the bench though.
    I have Cairney > Neves already.
    Erikson is on the clock though, probably Mane or maybe Alli or Pogba.

    • Average score. You’ll have to do bit better next week to get ajead of the bunch.

    • Neves will rise in price tonight so will need to do it before then. I’ve got him, wish he’d stayed in my original side!

    • Save the FT imo

    • Save it. Next couple of fixtures aren’t great for Wolves and Cairney may do better

    • I have done Cairney > Neves already using my FT, unless you have funds in the bank you may have trouble getting Neves in a few GW’s time when he has gone up in price.

  5. After mendy bonus and hamer is subbed in i’ll have 80 points. Very very happy with that. Is richarlisons yellow flag anything to worry about?

    • My understanding was that his sub was precautionary and it ain’t bad, but not sure.

  6. Suggestion for site … (maybe can already do and i don’t know how)

    ….. Having a way to look at previous posts made. I often post a Q or would like to check if there was any comments on something said earlier, but the boards fill up so quick and having to scroll through them all to find it or when another great article comes out and not being able to find it is a real pain.

    Not criticism, luv 247 … Just a thought

    • Especially true if post in the morning, go to work and then check again in the evening

    • A notification system would be useful for when people respond to you!

    • I agree to the point and new to the site as well……but meanwhile build the habit to check your comments number (which we mostly do not notice)…you can find quicker.

      • I agree.
        Even if you were just able to click on your profile and it shows you your last five comments that would be a great help.
        Currently I am just remembering the comment numbers but going back I have forgotten more so if comments are in a couple of threads.

        • This! There should be you last 5 comments on your profile page, that would be a simple solution to this problem!

    • I’m sure our IT squad are all over this….
