We hope this finds you and all your loved ones relatively safe and well. And welcome back to Live Match Chat. For those of you new to it it’s basically our version of Soccer Saturday but without any annoying flat earthers, big nosed scousers or smarmy Scotsmen. Oh, hang on…
The new season kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with a newly bullish Arsenal taking a trip to see whether Fulham learned any lessons from the last time they mixed it with the big boys.
This is followed by just the one 3pm game as Palace host Southampton.
Saturday finishes with the Champions Liverpool welcoming Leeds back in to the big time at 5.30pm and then Newcastle go to West Ham at 8pm.
On Sunday we have two games beginning with newcomers West Brom stepping back up to host Leicester. Followed by two stalwarts as Everton go to their bogey team Spurs.
Monday is unusual (what isn’t these days) as we have two 8pm games. Brighton host a new look Chelsea team and Sheffield United welcome Wolves.
It is of course a reduced GW in that both Manchester clubs were given a break after their European

For me Firmino is still one of liverpool’s key players! He’s just a really bad fanasty option.

morning Smash..for me Everything evolve around Firmino..he’s the cog in Pool’s chain..doesn’t score as munch as he used too..he’s the link between midfield and the front..not so good fantasy wise anymore but in real life first on Pool’s teamsheat imo..had one big chance which i can recall.. one on one with the keeper..Firmino has far more class then Heskey..and more important..Heskey were a more out and out striker but Sir Bobby is like a striker/defender/midfield maestro and general in LFC colours..imo..

The plan was to just survive gw1 with Bruno and kdb already in the team. But so far i’m in pretty bad shape. But with 25 points including bench points and with an average of 27 i guess it could be worse. Hoping that Werner comes to save the day…

I am OK and already did my Son -> Bruno I had planned all along. Keeping Salah and Auba for now on my team. May do Auba -> KDB after next GW.

Morning all I took Bruno out last minute for Son because there’s a rumour he can’t play in first game as he’s quarantined anyone any news
He was back in training recently, so he’s probably available to play.
Has that been confirmed LA? I think there was a doubt as to when that pic was taken, saying that I would be surprised and disappointed if he wasn’t available.

To be quite honest, Fix are reporting the first price changes will not be before Monday or Tuesday so there is/was no need to go so early!

Below the “Post Comment” button, there is a “Browse” button that you can click and upload your team image file.
To take a screenshot on a laptop/computer, you can use the print screen button and obtain an image that way but I prefer i screen grab tool like Gyazo.

Wilson looks electric at Newcastle. Can’t wait for that Fraser-Wilson combo to return.
Leeds and Liverpool both looked crap at the back (Meslier looks handy) – at least Leeds can blame the absence of Cooper

Salah looked like he had a point to prove yesterday. Loved the way he slapped the ball away after scoring his first penalty.
Electric is a bit strong but he looked decent. Looks like the Potentially the Newcastle player to own. Yeah Liverpool looked a bit at sea at the back. First game back and all that though I’m sure they will sort that out. Will be interesting considering they play Chelsea and Arsenal next

I think Salah’s new haircut is helping him……he’s more streamlined….
Jeff Hendrick looked lively yesterday. He won’t get a goal and an assist every week but at £5.0m he’s worth keeping an eye on.
I think he has competition from Fraser, Almirón and Joelinton though. At that price I prefer certainty of minutes.

Agreed, Kop. I’d have thought he would shift into CM and Fraser on the wing but haven’t followed Hendrick closely!
