We hope you enjoyed your long summer break. Ahem, let’s try that again. Anyway, you get the picture.
We hope this finds you and all your loved ones relatively safe and well. And welcome back to Live Match Chat. For those of you new to it it’s basically our version of Soccer Saturday but without any annoying flat earthers, big nosed scousers or smarmy Scotsmen. Oh, hang on…
The new season kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with a newly bullish Arsenal taking a trip to see whether Fulham learned any lessons from the last time they mixed it with the big boys.
This is followed by just the one 3pm game as Palace host Southampton.
Saturday finishes with the Champions Liverpool welcoming Leeds back in to the big time at 5.30pm and then Newcastle go to West Ham at 8pm.
On Sunday we have two games beginning with newcomers West Brom stepping back up to host Leicester. Followed by two stalwarts as Everton go to their bogey team Spurs.
Monday is unusual (what isn’t these days) as we have two 8pm games. Brighton host a new look Chelsea team and Sheffield United welcome Wolves.

I guess that benching kdb and bruno worked out just fine. Justin and Mitchell who i had instead took 6 and 9 points. Son who would have replaced one of them took only 2 points.
1ft and kdb and bruno already in the squad. Great success! As Borat would say!

So Bamford “leeds” in transfers. Interesting to see so many knee-jerk transfers. I mean Leeds played very well against the defending champs but still……

He only played just over 60 mins. Not exactly what I’d want from a 6 million forward

I could not figure out who in Leeds play well….I mean as a unit they looked good, but all looked at par. This way points will be distributed.

For me they looked good collectively but there was not a stand out fantasy player to own. All very early though and I think they could do well

Hi guys, how are you doing?
I’ve been very busy and didn’t have much time to prepare my FPL team, and even less to post here.
Actually I got caught last minute when I saw Zyiech would not start and had to improvise a very last minute change.
Not very happy about the set-up (I have Hundson-Odoi :/) and about my captaincy choice which I changed from Salah to Auba last minute, but apart from that it should be a good GW1 for me.
Rate my team please!
