Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10.

No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway.

We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said.

Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet.

The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Leicester.

The Sabbath sees a Holy Trinity of matches – first up Sarri and his cheer leaders on the bench go to Burnley, while fellow Europa competitors Arsenal cross the Thames to face Palace.

The later game sees Fellaini present host Fellaini past at Old Trafford.

The best may yet be to come though as Spurs host Man City at their temporary housing shelter. Time for Kane or time for Kun?

Enjoy and go well.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 10 from all at FF247!

  1. question for all. is there a way to find out your previous season fpl points per week? i only started last season and was curious to go back and find out how i fared last year on a week by week basis

    • if you look where it says Points/Ranking etc, underneath it will say View Gameweek History. That should be in blue, kind of like a URL. click it. It will show you your gameweek history for this season, and also show past season overall scores.

      • hey hammerfan. thanks for that. actually wanted to see the breakdown (week by week) for the previous season. seems like it is not accessible.

  2. Chris Sutton does not come across well really

    • Really random. Sometimes he comes out with good stuff and sometimes stupid. Generally I think he just says controversial stuff. Last week he said VVD was the third best player in the world

      • hey Smash – he is random or my comment was?

He was on BT there before the wife changed the channel.

  3. on a separate note to site admin.
not sure if its just me, but have noticed that the site is coming up as “not secure” on the URL.
is it just on mine, or is anyone else noticing this?

    • +1 . you are right. i see it too on chrome

    • Been like that for over 12 months. It’s since they introduced HTTPS. Basically if you didn’t conform immediately and revert from simply HTTP they decided to brand any site with this rather misleading and annoying stamp. Just ignore it, basically. Not like we have your bank details or anything.

      Yet 😉

  4. Cairney’s price is set to drop tonight and I’ve already lost £0.2 on him. Is it worth an early transfer to get rid of him? I’d probably do Cairney>Hojberg as I really can’t think of anyone decent at that price.
    2 FT £0.5 ITB

    • It’s not worth it. Just got to take it. It’s all about points and not petty team value.

    • No, just relax. He’s bench fodder anyway. Not worth the candle.

      • Thought as much. Would be rash given it’s Huddersfield next but my god were we poor today.

        • I’m seriously thinking of starting Billing (one of my bench-fodder players) next week. Logic being if Cardiff can knock 4 past you then anyone can. He’ll certainly be first off the bench, at least.

But damn, it must be tough. Turning things round is going to be incredibly difficult.

  5. Kiko F 4.2 looks like a good option with WAT playing so well…will he continue to start do you think?
    Thanks

    • Not sure (a couple of their defenders are out at the moment, am not not sure what happens when they’re back) but check Watford’s fixtures. Short term ok but some tricky games on the horizon.

  6. Breaking News
    Leicester City owner’s helicopter crashes
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-46006470

    • This is awful stuff. Shocking

    • Horrible, there’s normally no way back from a helicopter crash.

    • Leicester’s owner would have been inside, maybe the son too, so sad. Other news, Apparently Glenn Hoddle’s ‘responding well’ to treatment, so fingers crossed…

      • The son wasn’t there I’ve just heard.
