Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10.

No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway.

We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said.

Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet.

The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Leicester.

The Sabbath sees a Holy Trinity of matches – first up Sarri and his cheer leaders on the bench go to Burnley, while fellow Europa competitors Arsenal cross the Thames to face Palace.

The later game sees Fellaini present host Fellaini past at Old Trafford.

The best may yet be to come though as Spurs host Man City at their temporary housing shelter. Time for Kane or time for Kun?

Enjoy and go well.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 10 from all at FF247!

Was it really Charlie? Are you sure he was on the pitch at that time? I jest of course but I sold him yesterday for Mane and this game so far proves me right!!

You think Barkley has secured his future playing time?

    Averages so far….

Seeing a lot smashing these on here which is great news!

    Mitro says:

Not a bad GW! Currently on 72 after subs with kun to go!

    I appreciate it’s a bit early but what should do for GW11? I have 2 FT & 0.9 ITB.

Would like to get rid of seri for Barkley but it would mean I would have to get rid of either Kepa or Alonso.

Chin up Aarron, we’ve all been there and doubtless will again this season. Forget this week and go again.

It will get better like Init says everybody has been there. Though him a lot less than most

I’m sure I’ve had a similar week Smash, I’m sure I have I just can’t remember it smile Usually, if I’ve not got 22 by ten past 3 on a Saturday I’m starting to get in a bad mood :hippo:

I’m joking Aarron, btw 😉 Best thing you can do with such weeks is laugh them off and move on. As you are indeed, so….

Neves? This a straight swap, if so what’s the budget available?

Just initial thoughts but how about:

Salah & Wan-Bissaka to Mane & Mendy for free?

Or would you rather drop Mitrovic to fodder and go 4-4-2? Basically Mendy or Mitrovic? Or could drop Richarlison too… He seems wasteful like last year. Then it’d be 4-3-3… Basically would you rather have Mendy over Mitro or Rich?

If I drop Salah to Mane then I’d have a bit of a benching headache I guess, but that could be good too as Xmas is very near! And even this gameweek I had 4 players out due to illness or injury so having a great bench is not a bad thing in itself… Let me hear (read) your thoughts! smile

      Smash says:

I’d prefer Salah. Think he might just be getting going. I’ve never played four at the back intentionally but might be the way to go. I’d prefer Mendy to those mids

      • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah, I think with Robertson/Alonso/Mendy a four at the back could be great this season. I played 4-4-2 at the beginning of last season but it felt strange and I knew I had the WC to change that. Now the WC is gone so feels a bit overwhelming, but I think I agree that Mendy is better than Rich or Mitro… Just gotta choose between the two now…

        • Horse says:

@Zed. I agree. 442 offers the great value especially with DRAMA in defence (Doherty Robertson Alonso Mendy and AWB) Each GW one or two of them fire double digits.

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah! I was actually thinking of DRAMZ 😀

          Doherty, Robertson, Alonso, Mendy, Zabaleta

I could sell Wan-B as well but Zaba rotates a lot better with Doherty, Zaba has good fixtures in the next two as Doherty and Wan-B have bad fixtures! But yeah, I think I’ll try it at least for a while, either 4-4-2 or 4-3-3…

I think now’s the time to hold Salah if you’ve had him

Mané looks great too but Salah looks much more dangerous every game and gets more chances.
