Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10.

No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway.

We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said.

Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet.

The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Leicester.

The Sabbath sees a Holy Trinity of matches – first up Sarri and his cheer leaders on the bench go to Burnley, while fellow Europa competitors Arsenal cross the Thames to face Palace.

The later game sees Fellaini present host Fellaini past at Old Trafford.

The best may yet be to come though as Spurs host Man City at their temporary housing shelter. Time for Kane or time for Kun?

Enjoy and go well.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    West London Sport:

Head coach Sarri said: “Barkley is doing very well in this period. He improved in the defensive phase, improved very much.

“He improved his physical condition because the last season for him was really very difficult.

“He’s a very good player from the technical point of view. Now I think Ross is complete.”

Anyone else considering selling Hazard for Mane or Salah? Don’t know if it’s worth it or not.

With their respective fixtures next week, I’m not sure I would. I’d want Salah for Fulham though.

Seems fairly self-explanatory Elle, might just be an age thing. Happy Birthday btw mucca smile

        • Elleffcee says:

Cheers mate. Its not an age thing, should have Haz and Mane/Salah already. All 3 are class and can return big points against anyone.

        • Kralin says:

Cashflow issues most likely (unless playing cheapo forwards), combined with the Salah/Mane rivers drying up a week or so ago and Sterling and Hazard being so hot.

The looming challenge will of course be to get Hazard back in; but the returns may be lucrative enough to make that a luxury, not a necessity.

      Kralin says:

But to answer the original question, I suppose context is everything. If you’re focused mainly on winning your mini-league and none of your opponents has Salah / Mane, then you may not need to do it. OR wise however it is suicidal not to have one of them.

Well I played my WC 2 weeks ago and I haven’t any real benefit from using it, 37 points last game week and currently on 31 points at the moment. So I could really use some help. 1 FT and 0.5 ITB
    Patricio Lossl
    Alonso Mendy Gomez Bennett Wan
    Sterling Hazard Rich Hughes Masuasku
    Augero Firminio Jimenez

Looking ahead, what are people’s thoughts on Bournemouth assets? Three tricky fixtures in next four. Newcastle can be resilient too.

Got Fraser at 5.5, but might be time to cash in?

      Smash says:

That’s has crossed my mind but not sure if fixtures are as hard as it seems. United and Arsenal have been pretty leaky this season. He’s cheap and not sure if there is better alternatives. Fraser returns are so much better when he plays in the front three though

      EBC says:

If I was on wildcard I may get rid but I’m holding for now as I have more pressing issues.

I’m not sure there are many good options at that price range. (Jury is out for Barkley for me)
