Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10.
No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway.
We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said.
Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet.
The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Leicester.
The Sabbath sees a Holy Trinity of matches – first up Sarri and his cheer leaders on the bench go to Burnley, while fellow Europa competitors Arsenal cross the Thames to face Palace.
The later game sees Fellaini present host Fellaini past at Old Trafford.
The best may yet be to come though as Spurs host Man City at their temporary housing shelter. Time for Kane or time for Kun?
Enjoy and go well.
The games in full…

Offalymartin
Afternoon all. Any advice would be great please.
Just the 1ft and nothing in the bank unfortunately.
Was thinking of doing Firminio to Vardy.
Neilos
Hey Offalymartin
I brought in Firmino last game week as I suspect he will be in the goals. Plus they have a good run coming up. I’m probably going to bring KDB for Richarlison myself.
Offalymartin
Cheers mate. Yeah I’m thinking the same about Firmino. He should be in the goals you’d imagine.
Neilos
Defo. He will have his moment to shine and remind people!
Cookie
Offalymartin,
I’d probably hold the transfer – given what’s happened at Leicester I wouldn’t double up right now, I don’t think.
Plus you’ll want Firmino for Fulham (h) the week after.
Offalymartin
Cheers Cookie. Yeah that’s true. I’ve taken to many hits lately. I might leave it ride.
dannyg123
Ross Berkley is the 2nd most transferred player in this gw. Should he even be considered or just knee jerk
Cookie
A midfielder for a top team who has scored in 3 successive matches and costs less than 6mln is always going to be popular. Chuck in good fixtures and a glowing recommendation from his boss and what’s not to like?
EBC
Could be one to file alongside Neves, Moura, Pedro.
It’ll take another couple of starts before I’m convinced.
Cookie
Fair enough EBC – its a very fine line between chasing points and recognising true value. Only time will tell.
He has form and fixtures though, 3 of the next 4 are home vs Palace, Everton & Fulham….
EBC
Yeah not saying he’s a bad choice. I’m just not a fan of buying rotation risks.
Zed Leppelin
Waaaaaaay too risky for me, he’ll start many on the bench… Plus it’s Barkley, sometimes amazing, sometimes a headless chicken! Remember Lingard last December?
Netihiiro
2 FT, 0.2 in the bank. Any ideas? Thanks!
Cookie
Net,
Not much to do but maybe consider Mitrovic to Arnie, if Arnie is ok?
EBC
+1
If you didn’t already have 2 FT I would suggest holding for another week. But yeah, time for Mitro to go soon.
Netihiiro
Cheers. I could also do Long-Arnie and Aguero-Vardy. The only thing what’s keeping me back is that City will host Southampton at next gameweek…
Cookie
I’d be wary of Leicester assets right now – the Chairman’s death has realy hit them hard.
dannyg123
Dear Britney back in the starting 11. I feel he will have a great game tonight only a matter of time before I have to get him in
dannyg123
Lol auto correct meant de bruyne. He is due to start
Gavy
I’d be shocked if he did start tonight
Gavy
Didn’t
banjomaker
Britney benched
Rosco
Man that’s ‘toxic’, pep will be saying ‘oops I did it again’ etc.
Gavy
Lol
igy4
Bench me baby one more time!
Rosco
Nice!!!
igy4
It is pep’s prerogative!
Raziel
Any reason why Eriksen is benched?
Raziel
He’s pretty much their best player by a long shot.
Rosco
Who knows, even weirder that Sissoko plays, he’s not just their worst player he’s the most dog sh!t excuse for a player known to man.
Raziel
Hehe Rosco. Just noticed KdB on bench as well. They afraid to play em?
Rosco
Would you play him on that pitch!!? It’s a bloody mess!!
FC Sanchez
Right on on Sissoko! F’d up a lucky but clear Spurs break/advantage, (courtesy of shocking defending by Mendy), with that pass to nowhere. Where is Dele or Son or Christian Eriksen?! Throw them on in the second half at least…
FC Sanchez
Another shite pass. Sissoko + Lamela (losing the ball a lot) out for Son and Eriksen/Dele…
Kruzcampo
How much did Spurs pay for the guy.You Geordies drove a hard bargain!!
Rosco
Bout £35m… they was robbed!!
Kruzcampo
Defo when Salah cost 34.3 mill!!! I thought Levy was a tough negotiator!!
constantine
Really want Kun to score good tonight. He’s my “differential” Captain now. Nightmare GW without Salah..
Rosco
I’d be happy with a Kun hat-trick all assisted by Mendy with an Ederson pen save and CS… too much to ask!?
constantine
You just mentioned my wish. Amen
FC Sanchez
Mendy looking shaky tonight tho!
Cookie
He’s not a great defender, but he’s a beast going forward.
FC Sanchez
True, Cookie; I’m sure everyone’s waiting on that assist or two (on top of the potential CS + bonus points) from him. Sloppy Spurs attacking might give him all three if they continue in the same vein!
