Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10.
No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway.
We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said.
Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet.
The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Leicester.
The Sabbath sees a Holy Trinity of matches – first up Sarri and his cheer leaders on the bench go to Burnley, while fellow Europa competitors Arsenal cross the Thames to face Palace.
The later game sees Fellaini present host Fellaini past at Old Trafford.
The best may yet be to come though as Spurs host Man City at their temporary housing shelter. Time for Kane or time for Kun?

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Yeah, kind of cheap stunt they pull off in MLS. Hard to watch if it weren’t for City beginning to tear Spurs a new one.
MC have Spurs on the ropes…hope Trips points don’t go into the minus zone! Worth a 4ph to swap him for Mendy next week?
Actually a decent match if you can tune out the fake-footy/NFL lines. Spurs had some clear chances and should have scored if it weren’t for terrible first touches (Kane) or funky final passes (Sissoko).
Should I give Kane one more week? He’s really not repaying me for the faith I’ve shown in him!

Nope.
I’d replace Kane with Kun, or Auba, or Arnie. Use the loose change to upgrade Ings.
I was thinking Auba tonight but the Liverpool fixture really puts me off. Kun, the 60 minutes worries me. What would everyone do?
Kun. Southampton at home. Midweek CL wouldn’t worry me too much either given as he didn’t even start the away game so I doubt he starts the home one either.
Look long-term rather than short-term. Arnie’s the man I want, though I have Kun.
Kun has not scored yet today, but his 60 mins does not bother me as he usually does.
Cheers for the suggestions all, I think I’ll give myself a week to come up with a plan rather than do anything rash.
Hi all. Just pointing this out whilst there are a good few about – site will (should!) be offline for an hour or so in the morning from 7am to 8am whilst we have some work done.
My faith in all things IT (not ours this time!) knows no bounds so in theory it’ll be up again by 8 but just in case it all goes t*ts up it was nice knowing you all :whacky: 😉
