Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10.
No early deadlines this week – not even a Saturday lunchtime kick-off. We don’t get started until 3pm on Saturday. Ah the good old days are back. Well for a week anyway.
We have five 3pm matches to get us under way, some more exciting than others it has to be said.
Brighton vs Wolves and Southampton vs Newcastle have the capability to send the most die-hard footy fan to sleep. Liverpool vs Cardiff will have most of us expecting to need a calculator to total our FPL points, while Bournemouth will be licking their lips at the thought of an afternoon’s shooting practice vs Fulham. Watford vs Huddersfield complete the quintet.
The evening match sees the Hammers & Arnie limp up to Leicester.
The Sabbath sees a Holy Trinity of matches – first up Sarri and his cheer leaders on the bench go to Burnley, while fellow Europa competitors Arsenal cross the Thames to face Palace.
The later game sees Fellaini present host Fellaini past at Old Trafford.
The best may yet be to come though as Spurs host Man City at their temporary housing shelter. Time for Kane or time for Kun?

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

For free yeah not sure about a hit. Long term I’d prefer Mendy. If Mendy keeps his bonus 79. Others have done better but I’ll take that
The bonus system is nonsense isn’t it? Mendy and Ederson both getting 2 BP? Mendy looked mega dodgy and had his worst game in a man City shirt and I barely remember Ederson making a save. I do have them both so I shouldn’t be grumbling I suppose!
I don’t sufficiently understand the bonus system so can’t really comment, but would be interested to hear why they shouldn’t have been given the bonuses and others were more deserving. What was it that other players did in the tackle, or pass, or chances created, or clearances, etc.
My vague understanding is that many elements, or features of play, make up the bonus system; I’ve never had the time nor inclination to pick them all apart. I’m always very grateful for whatever comes my way.
So yes, will grab Mendy’s 2 tonight – if it stays that way – very welcome.

Evening all. I often read this thread but hardly ever comment.
Usually at any given point I have 4 or 5 useless assholes that I want to be rid of but for once I’m pretty happy with my team. I have 2 free transfers though so feel like I have to make 1 at least rather than waste it. I Would loose like half a million if I shipped out hazard so I feel like I should wait for him to come back as long as it isn’t too long. Anybody have any thoughts on anyone else? Thanks
