Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.

We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.

We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.

On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.

There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Hi all. I have 0.3 in the bank and 1 free transfer. Would you hold Son v Arsenal? I need to sort Saiss asap. Son and Saiss to Walker and Mahrez for a minus 4? Or just Saiss to someone else upto 5.3? Thanks all

5-3-2 incoming. I remember someone on the site being a big fan of this formation.

Best goal keeper to get for the foreseeable future under 5.1? Thinking of dumping Ryan…

      DMC says:

Ryan could be good this GW but if you don’t think likewise then Mendy (5.1) is your man.

      • FC Sanchez says:

Thanks guys. Am prolly gonna WC hence the question. Gonna keep Chilwell and maybe add Zouma or James (who do you reckon). Or just Chilwell and Mendy? If not Mendy then defo considering Meslier or Johnstone. What do you guys reckon?

        • DMC says:

Chilwell and James for the Chelsea double for me. Both capable of bps if not attacking returns of course. Don’t think you can rely on Johnstone as your only keeper.

        • leeboy104 says:

For double Chelsea I’d go Chilwell and James, they’re BPS magnets. Zouma isn’t worth more than James.

        • FC Sanchez says:

Thanks. Considering Zouma as might be more rotation proof than James?? but yeah James is less expensive and offers more attacking returns and bps.

        • FC Sanchez says:

Was looking at Johnstone as he does get save points unlike Ryan and others.

        • DMC says:

He does and saves the odd penalty here and there but Ryan doesn’t make them because they don’t allow so many shooting opportunities so it’s a matter of time/patience to get those CS imo.

        • FC Sanchez says:

That is true DMC. Anyway, how’s your season going? Hope it’s better than mine!

        • DMC says:

Well, pretty much as everybody else’s I guess. Started badly and slowly recovering. It’s all early days yet. I’m sure we’ll all get there when the time comes.

        • FC Sanchez says:

Same here man same here though Idk if I’m even recovering slowly. Haha. Hopefully this WC will help a bit. In any case all the best w/ the busy season.

Yes Mendy probably but I’d be inclined to just stick and bear it.

This week I was planning to sell Son and Kane for KDB and Jesus, with a long termview to their respective fixtures, since Spurs’s are written ‘park the bus’ all over them. Unfortunately, I woke up to find Jesus price had gone up last night and I couldn’t afford both him and KDB and I went ahead and bought Sterling in place of KDB -a foolish move which I realized the moment I confirmed the transfers, for I should have gone with Mahrez who is in some form.
I am now wondering whether to give Sterling the armband or leave in on Bruno?
