Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.

We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.

We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.

On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.

There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.

Hi everyone – feeling strangely serene and detached, while watching Everton Vs Leeds, having captained DCL, and realizing that I’m about to have a ridiculous FPL weekend, ready to lose touch with those amongst you who bought up big on Jota, Vardy, Mahrez & KDB. It’ll take me way down deep into the 2-3m mark, but I don’t really care. Usually I would be kicking myself, but I’m subject to forces beyond my control (partially because of my own decisions, but it’s hardly a Greek tragedy! smile )
    From now on I’ll be able to look up at you all above me!
    Everton return back ‘Everton’ status – good on you Leeds (shame about The Bamf not scoring, but hey Paddy, that’s life smile ).
    Bye all – going to hunker down, grab a nice beer, and read in front of the fire!

      • Kind words Shri, but seriously, I’m okay about it and feel at one with the world! Putting things in perspective! You are probably right though, both but it’s nice to have support! Cheerio and enjoy your weekends. smile

        • You got an Argentinian red to say goodbye to Maradona and I got in an Argentinian blue (His former son in law Sergio!) , despite Pep saying he wasn’t 100% – I felt sure Aguero was gonna turn up even for 50 minutes and want to get amongst the goals to pay hommage to Diego ! Well I guess I made a decent forward investment for the coming GW’s, didn’t I? smile Fook me! Yes, as far as not giving a ‘rat’s behind’ about things, none is better than I Cookster. In fact I had 2 City players who didn’t even make it to the bus! (Cancelo and Kun). I guess their benchie replacements Soucek and Kilman could actually score some points. Anyway you gotta laugh! Often at yourself.

    • Yep it sucks. I mean I can relate I’ve sold 4 strikers this season who have got at least two returns straight after selling

  4. No points for DCL, but 5 pts for Cooper coming in for Mitchell. Happy with anything I can get smile

  5. Pep rotation hurt today as had brought in Cancelo and with Lamptey and Mitchell also in squad, means Ill have a 10 player gw.

    Looking for some advice. Im wanting to get KdB in and will take a hit for it
    Currently:
    McCarthy Steer
    Chilwell, Justin, Kilman, KKonsa, Ferguson
    Bruno, James, Ziyech, Grealish, Bissouma
    Kane, Vardy, DCL
    1FT and 3m in the bank

    Im considering James and Kane out for KdB and Werner (4ph) and then Jota in for Ziyech the week after (or leave it as is?)

    Else any other advice?
