Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.
We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.
We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.
On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.
There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.
The games in full…

Not particularly a Maradona fan but I’m about 2/3’s of the way through the Asif Kapadia doc on him. C4 (All 4) have released it free for a month. If you haven’t seen it do so, it’s outstanding / fascinating.
Will do, thanks for that!
Thanks for this.
Evening all. I have 0.3 in the bank and 1 free transfer. I’d like to get in someone else for saiss before I lose even more value on him. Who would you recommend? Thanks all.
Maybe Dier or Coufal – that way you don’t eat into your O.3 ITB, but may add a few pence to it.
Or someone of the same level.
Cheers AJW
Konsa nice fixtures or Creswell
Cheers Disney. I’ve also thought about that
A Newcastle defender could be useful for the coming GWs
Cheers Willy Wonkers
Morning all,
Hope the GW is going well for everyone, I’m on 55 (-4) with only Martinez to play, would have been much worse if I didn’t have KDB captain.
Trying to plan ahead, I realise I now have 3 non playing defenders
For this week I’m thinking Dunne >> a 4.5 like Masuaku or Dallas
Which will leave me with enough ITB to do Rodriguez and Kane >> Salah and Wilson next week, in time for Salah vs Fulham and Wilson vs West Brom
Anyone see better moves to make, or does it make sense?
Thanks!
Seems like a good plan. You need to address the defence first which you have acknowledged.
Rodriguez to Grealish
Hard times after a fairly decent start for Arteta. Saw the other day that Emery had a better record than him after the same games played!
All the best Raul.
Geez, scary stuff. Get better soon Jimi.
Morning all,
Could I ask for your thoughts on these WC teams?
My current team is linked. Cant decided if its worth playing now, but would like to get KDB in and with it sitting there, hits probably arent needed!
First off a note on playing your WC. When you post here most will say that you don’t need to. There is some merit to that, but also there is merit in playing it if you make substantial changes that will gain your more points than holding it.
With regard to the the changes I usually look and if 7-8 changes are being made then that for me warrants a WC.
With regards to the two drafts, I like the first one, but do like the flexibility that having a slightly better 5th mid (Soucek) offers you, especially in the current climate and heading into the Xmas period.
Gets my vote :good:
Cheers Rosco. I normally hold onto the WC for as long as I can. My only reservation with playing it is i’ll be losing Son and Vardy. Around 10 changes in personal and these are the only two that bother me.
How does this one look? I lose Chilwell but gain Vardy.
Gear, I am planning to bring Vardy as well, but let’s wait until Thursday night. Leicester will travel to Ukraine for the Europa league and anything could happen…
Thats a good point. I wont pull the trigger on anything until Friday anyway. Cheers bud!
