Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.
We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.
We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.
On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.
There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.

Bees, after missing the deadline I am so grateful for the 46 points. Glad that Vardy only managed a scruffy assist, he was my biggest fear. Now, with 2 FT and 4.5 ITB must regroup, and most importantly not miss the next Friday deadline :yes:

I hope so, missing a deadline is usually a big crash. Thankfully I dodged the bullet this time with a massive surprise from Neto. The plan for getting Vardy has been cancelled, I have an eye on Werner but will see.

Jota is first on my list, then I might gamble with Mahrez (big gamble which could go either way) that is the only way I can afford Werner who I want. With the UCL and EL games ahead everything could change.

I have 2ft and will bring in Jota and probably KDB…will see. Need to sort out Mitchell soon too.

Which would have been absurd considering he looked pretty abysmal on the whole. 1 chance is all it takes to keep the FPL points ticking over though.

VAR officials should make it clear as to what constitutes offsides. Is it the position of the feet, or just any body part. If you can be called offsides because your arm is in front of the last opponent, then you should be able to throw the ball into the goal. It doesn’t make sense to me.
Villa manager should be shot for allowing Watkins to take the penalty when he had missed 3 of 5 previously. What’s the matter with Grealish, who is their only goal threat?

Any body part that can legally score a goal, they’ve been very clear with that.
But yeah, 4 misses out of 5 is not a great record, imagine Barkley and Hourihanne are both happy to take penalties, don’t think it will be Grealish.

Guess it depends on what position you started the week it, but net 54 has me up 100k places, so 50 can’t be bad. Wildcards are just for 1 week though, always difficult to keep in mind.
