Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.
We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.
We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.
On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.
There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.

I would play Lamptey over Mitchell.
The Villa v Newcastle game may be postponed, you have Martinez and Grealish so keep an eye on that.
I would be looking at Manchester City coverage with their nice fixtures over the next few weeks and months.
Obviously you will be aware of peptation if you decide to make this transfer.

Well Lamptey would come on for Mitchell if he doesn’t play.
And yes I’m aware of the Villa game possibly being called off. I might just bench Grealish for this GW and play one of my bench if that’s the case and look for a Martinez replacement.
Also I do have city coverage in KdB. Dyu feel that’s insufficient ? Assuming the villa game doesn’t get called off and Lamptey plays ahead of Mitchell, would you proceed with the same team ?
I fear a tough game week for you with no playing goalkeeper.
You also have Chelsea defence and attack against Leeds defence and attack which could cancel each other out.
Mitchell also a possible no show.
What about Martinez to Ryan or
Mitchell to Fofana.

Now that the villa game is cancelled
my main priority would be a GK.
Since Lamptey Dallas and Reidewald should get me some points in case Mitchell doesn’t play and Reidewald and Lamptey come in for Mitch and Grealish.
Will take your advice and chose a playing GK so that I have 11 players who start.
Would McCarthy be a better option than Ryan?

Seriously though, Tips will be up at about 10pm tonight.
Aston Villa vs Newcastle looking very likely to be postponed, glad for once that I don’t own Grealish or Wilson
Bad news for owners of those players, though I suppose that may depend on how soon their respective DGWs come around.
I would almost certainly have brought Wilson in for Jiminez this week (to enable structural adjustments elsewhere, plus Wilson seems to be chugging along nicely). Have a couple of days to ponder other moves.

If FPL move the fixture out of GW11 then the deadline might change but I expect it to stay the same.

just my opinion but they should change how transfers work this year due to covid. That’s Salah, Zaha and now Grealish/ Martinez as pretty high owned players that have been affected (I’ve probably missed someone). Maybe 2 or 3FT’s per week?
With Martinez having 2 DGWs in the future, is it a good idea to ditch?
I am holding him. Want to bring in KDB and possibly Jota. Will just have to loose his (likely) 2 points.
Looking to bring in KdB too. But that will have to be a -4 and Son + Kane out…
For now I am keeping both Martinez and Grealish.
There is a possibility this game to be played next week, Tuesday or Wednesday as neither team have any midweek engagements.
If that happens the game will be still included in GW 11.
That would be nice.
