Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.
We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.
We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.
On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.
There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.

Lol no…unless it is fake snow. My grandchildren went to a party last year where they had tons of fake snow in the garden, so the kids could have a snowball fight. Only in LA…

It has been postponed due to many covid cases in the Newcastle camp.
So Steer doesn’t count
and you have 1 Newcastle.
Someone said it might be played the following Tuesday or Wednesday. No idea how real an option that is.
It then becomes a -2 hit logic if you don’t have players.
Cancelo – I expect to start. Just got a rest. Nothing to see here.

So it’s switch a keeper who hasn’t been scoring points, bench Grealish and see where that leaves you.

Beno – how about a -4 to replace Martinez and Mitchell? It means that if Cancelo starts to be rotated you can move him on another week. You also have the Robertson money to downgrade but not this week. Our teams are similar
I was thinking a Mitchell replacement would be good as I’ll need my bench more in coming weeks. Maybe someone like Taylor.
Leaves me short of Son to KDB (and certainly salah) but I guess Kane or Cancelo would have to go for that.

Difficult to see where that game can now be rescheduled. NEW are still in the EFL quarters and AVL have their GW1 still to be played. Unless they both get knocked out of FAC early, the earliest slot I can see is the CL/EL midweek on 16 Feb (GW24)

It’s quite possible to play Weds 9th. Is that enough time for NEW to get the required isolation and negative tests. And for TV to fit it in the schedule.
But I do think I’ll leave Grealish and Martinez in my starting XI in the off chance to it goes aheadi

Did an early transfer to avoid price changes (rodriguez to jota) and have found myself in some deep doo-doo.
So what to do here? I have no ft’s but 1,6 itb.
I’m thinking that i will just play it as it is, maybe just move the bench around and go without a keeper. Won’t take -4 for a keeper….

Actually I dont feel too bad about that early transfer. Would probably not have used it on a keeper anyway but on Mitchell and played that player. But i guess it’s bellerin instead. Could be worse…
Don’t like taking a hit for a keeper but really tempted to bring in Mendy for Martinez… surely Mendy will score more than Martinez in the long run?
I would rather use that chelsea spot on james or zouma..
Just noticed I have no playing goalie…Mendy is an option.
James has higher ceiling and you could go McCarthy for example as keeper.
