Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 10. It’s yet another elongated weekend of football as we go from Friday all the way through to Monday.
We begin on said Friday with an 8pm KO as Palace welcome Newcastle.
We have four games on Saturday with Brighton and Liverpool getting us going for brunch at 12.30pm, Man City and Burnley making Jeff smile at 3pm, Everton and Leeds for tea at 5.30pm and West Brom & Sheffield United for supper at 8pm.
On Sunday we have three but you can all have a lie in as Saints and Man United don’t get going until 2pm, after which is the 3rd/4th place play-off at 4.30pm as Chelsea host Spurs before Arsenal and Wolves contest a Europa spot at 7.15pm.
There is an early KO on Monday but this will probably garner more interest than normal as most people’s Captain welcomes Fulham, after which West Ham and Villa see our GW out at 8pm.
The games in full…

Real and Barca are both without ä soul at the moment. Real 2-0 down…lol
Brilliant, I’m doomed! I’ve got Martinez, Nyland, Mitchell, Kilman, Lewis and Wilson unlikely to play this week! :suicide:
Free Hit it?
With that team, free hit might be the way to go igy. I have Martinez, Grealish and Targett myself so not ideal either but I might be able to get away with it
Just frustrating having to use it now as I’m normally quite good at saving all those chips for the dgws towards the end!
Could be a case of sucking it up then and accepting both a hit and that you may not field a full team. You’d have to weigh that up against the advantage of keeping it and using it later when it can potentially be more beneficial. Trouble at the moment is that this is just cancellation #1. There could be weeks where we see multiple cancellations. I’d probably keep it, on balance.
I think I may take a hit and switch out Nyland for a playing second keeper! This could potentially give me 11 providing either Kilman or Mitchell get any minutes! Or I could just stick with no keeper as a -4 means I’d only be 2 points better off if they do keep a clean sheet!
If you get it right with your captain choice you’ll probably be ok.
It’ll be something to tell the grandchildren / boast to the cat etc – the week I smashed the average with 6.5 players.
Think of all those ghost teams we always (dishearteningly, but amusingly) lose to each year. It’s not uncommon to lose to a side with about 4 active players.
You owe it to yourself to do it, igy4.
Jota and Mendy both going up tonight – and it seems appropriate to do nothing yet .
There is never a bad time to do nothing.
I wouldn’t do anything yet.
Nobody knows with what news we will be served tomorrow.
I’m probably in a better position than most this week with Ryan and Coufal available to deputise for Martinez and Grealish.
I’ve got 1.0 itb and planning to roll my FT
My problem is that I chose Grealish as captain. So now who should I have?
Werner at home against Leeds looks good.
Are you going to be comfortable without City cover?
I’m always going to be nervous without a presence from a big team. But lots of teams have good games this week so I’m hoping I’ll be ok without.
Next week I could do Robbo & Son both to city without a hit.
But my real differential is waiting to see how Nuno reacts to Rauls absence. If Fabio Silva gets minutes then I could use the bundle of cash to get KDB for stephens.
Even with 2 FT and 4.5 ITB my plans are wrecked after this cancelled game. Still, must bring Mahrez as planned, he was rested tonight and with Kun far from return he will start
Vardy and Werner seem interchangeable to me. Both are sound captain choices.
Fernandes also an ok shout.
Your side looks fine.
Any news about Aguero’s return?
He is yet to start training. By the time he becomes viable we’ll have the second WC available to get him in :laugh2:
Hahaha. True
S****. Just saw the news on AVL-NC game postponed. Think I’ll go without any goalie this week.
I’m considering the same Constantine. I’ve got Martinez and Nyland! If I take a -4 to get a playing second keeper then even with a clean sheet I’m only 2 points better off.
