Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart.

Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s nightmare and many a remote will be wrestled over. And no doubt many a husband banished to the shed to watch the games on their mobile! Arsenal play Liverpool in the traditional 5.30pm slot before we then get the bonus of Spurs going to Wolves at 7.45pm. Both could be crackers in their own right.

Sunday is a bit of a strange one as the two games overlap each other. Man City kick us off at 3pm as they see how many they can put past Southampton in what is usually referred to as ‘shooting practice’. Chelsea and Palace then lock horns at 4pm in a local (ish) derby.

The gameweek concludes on Monday with a preview (the way things are looking) of one of next seasons Friday Night Championship clashes as Huddersfield host Fulham.

      • I’d look to lose Zanka or Bertrand there, to be honest. You’ve got an unfortunate position too where it’s Wilson v Pereyra v Arnie for a starting place, which must be a right head ache!

      • That’s a bench head ache there and a weak defence. I’d bring in Salah for D Silva and downgrade Pereyra to a bench fodder

  2. The difference in points between Salah and Mane is 2 but Mane is 3.2 million cheaper. Go with Mane and use the funds elsewhere ?

    • It’s what I’m most likely doing, Elle. Salah would mess up a lot of my team.

    • I am thinking the same thing. Getting rid of Salah and I am close to getting in Sterling for Maddison.

  3. What a god awful GW!! Literally have no idea what to do, feel I need Richarlison and Arnie and prob Sterling too! 2FT no clue what moves to make!! Should I lose Mendy to fund ings to Arnie and then Richarlison for Maddy the week after and then make a decision on Sterling later? 0.2ITB

    • Ederson to Ryan and Ings to Arnie mate.

      • That route makes sense to me if you can afford it. Maybe Fabianski as Ryan misses January

    • Don’t fret, hun! Richarlison is away at Chelsea and so won’t be as prolific as he was this week. Definitely look to have him the week after, though. In that same match, I have a hunch Hazard is going to go crazy, but I’ll still be captaining a Liverpool player (most likely Mane when I get him). Watford aren’t exactly solid at the back, as you’ll know as a Toon fan, so Ings could well get something. We both know what Mendy can manage too, even if he hasn’t been great the last two games. What about just doing Guendouzi to Oriol Romeu to free up some funds to then have two FTs next week? I know it’s boring, but I’m struggling to see anything drastically wrong with your team. Just a bad week, you’ll be back on track next gameweek.

      • That’s the problem! On paper it’s a good side this week!! Well played this week BTW! Proper chuffed for you! I’m feeling a little indifferent this week, not that sad but obviously not very happy!!

        • Cheers man. Perhaps just see how the games go in the week and see if any injuries or whatever crop up. You may have a clearer idea of what to then, compared to now.

    • Hey brother. How much would you have if you did Mendy, Maddy and Ings to Arnie, Sterling and ?? Feel you won’t have much.

        • Ah crap. I think it’ll be a matter of Arnie or Sterling to be honest mate. With Mane and Haz in there with the premium defenders and GK you have a lot of dosh tied up.

  5. Evening everyone. Looking at my team I want to make a few changes. Masuaku, Knockaert and Mitro need to go. I’m thinking Felipe Anderson for his fixtures and I would love Lacazette but I can’t get the money.

    I have 2 FT’s and 0.8 itb.

    I could do Masuaku and Mitro to Felipe and Success but that still leaves me with Knockaert and no Arsenal players. Any ideas are welcome lads.

    • Hi Matt, think I’d be tempted to do Mitro to Murray this week, keeping a FT back and then perhaps switch Salah to Mane and Knockaert to whoever with the difference.

    Could have gone much worse for me, although sadly my two transferred out players scored 21 between them!
