Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart.

Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s nightmare and many a remote will be wrestled over. And no doubt many a husband banished to the shed to watch the games on their mobile! Arsenal play Liverpool in the traditional 5.30pm slot before we then get the bonus of Spurs going to Wolves at 7.45pm. Both could be crackers in their own right.

Sunday is a bit of a strange one as the two games overlap each other. Man City kick us off at 3pm as they see how many they can put past Southampton in what is usually referred to as ‘shooting practice’. Chelsea and Palace then lock horns at 4pm in a local (ish) derby.

The gameweek concludes on Monday with a preview (the way things are looking) of one of next seasons Friday Night Championship clashes as Huddersfield host Fulham.

The games in full…

  1. Only got 52 this week, really wanted to reach 700, so near yet so far.

Already made transfer brought Arnie in for Mitro, I had exact funds so couldn’t wait till end of the week.

    Roll on next game week!

    • Great transfer. I suspect a lot of people will be making that move this week.

Looks like you just had an unlucky week there Carolyn. Lots of very decent players there, but they all failed you at the same time. At least captain Kun saved you. And Mitro has a good chance of getting you some more points tonight 🙂

      • Thank you, comments like that calm me down and stop me doing crazy things like a -16.

      • Did the same move… mitro’s last chance to score a hatty tonight and go out with a bang.

    • Isn’t 700 points a bit ambitious for one GW?

  2. Hi guys.

Do the price rises happen on a specific time every night or could they happen anytime during the day/night?

  3. Hi all
    2FT 0.5 ITB. Any ideas?
    Patricio Lossl
    Mendy Alonso Gomez Bennett Wan
    Hazard Sterling Hughes Rich Masuaka
    Augero Firmino Jimenez

    • I like your team but I’m not a fan of firmino. He’s an expencive forward that dosen’t score alot of goals. He’s more likely to get an assist actually since mané and salah does most of the scoring.

I say firmino to arnie and uprade a cheap midfielder with the extra money…

      • Agreed Firmino got to go, but need to bring Salah or Mane for Lpool attack.

        • I think your double city attackers make up for not having a lfc attacker.

It’s aguero or sterling you’ll have to kick out if you want salah or mané.. (or Hazard but i wouldn’t do that…)

        • I agree that City attack can equal Liverpool, but their fixtures are at (almost) opposite ends of the spectrum this week! I would either leave Firmino in, or upgrade Hughes to Mane, with Firmino going the other way.

        • Only way I can afford that is Firmino to Success and Hughes to Mane?

        • Or is Hazard worth moving out for a week or 2?

        • Firmino to Mané seems like a great move and hughes to success wont do much differance, so do it. Mostly beacuse you dosent have to sell any of the other expencive players….

    • And 99 points this weekend! Nice one!!!

      • Cheers, it was greatly needed after the previous 2 weeks.

  4. Hi good folks – pretty poor week with 50 points and shurrle to go. And frustrating cos I sold sterling for Maddison. And now I want him back after the United games

Any thoughts on my team?1 FT with 2.7 ITB
I have yet to use my wildcard – when would be a good time? Currently with a ranking of about 230k. A drop from 160k last week.

    Cheers!

  5. Wilson is super impressive, am thinking of a straight swop for Mitrovic?

    • He has a tough run of fixtures and would prefer Arnie. As you have him already it seems like a good front line!

  6. Any early thoughts on what to do with this lot?

    Only 1ft and 0.1m….

    Hart to Fab?
Mitro to Murray (depends on tonight i guess)?
Maddison to Richar? (surely give maddison the next fix)

    Thanks

    • Yeah, I wouldn’t do Maddison to Richarlison this week, Maddison is due imo (whatever that means 😆 )

      • Mitro to Arnie is a better bet. Not that I am biased.

        • Maddison to Mane would be even better, but the money also doesn’t stretch there either 😉

        • Can’t afford it unfortunately! Not enough in the bank.

Hart is being useless for weeks! Surely he’s gotta go soon?

        • Yep. Think I’d be inclined to wait until after West Ham has played City though. Then again, Fab might get 20 saves that week 😆

        • Mitro to Arnie is what I would do here!

        • Can’t afford, Zed!

        • Ah…
