Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. We are back with a Saturday lunchtime kick-off as Bournemouth attempt to keep up their recent good form and make Jose even more miserable and negative, if that is indeed possible. We then have just four games at 3pm ahead of an extended and unusual evening program. At 3pm we have Cardiff hosting Leicester in what will be an emotion filled occasion, Everton will be looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against traditionally poor travellers Brighton, Newcastle will be seeking, and probably failing to get, their first win against a more than vibrant Watford and West Ham will have the red carpet out for Joe Hart.

Saturday evening is a husband’s delight and a wife’s nightmare and many a remote will be wrestled over. And no doubt many a husband banished to the shed to watch the games on their mobile! Arsenal play Liverpool in the traditional 5.30pm slot before we then get the bonus of Spurs going to Wolves at 7.45pm. Both could be crackers in their own right.

Sunday is a bit of a strange one as the two games overlap each other. Man City kick us off at 3pm as they see how many they can put past Southampton in what is usually referred to as ‘shooting practice’. Chelsea and Palace then lock horns at 4pm in a local (ish) derby.

The gameweek concludes on Monday with a preview (the way things are looking) of one of next seasons Friday Night Championship clashes as Huddersfield host Fulham.

The games in full…

  1. Jimenez hattie now please…

    Asking a bit much?

  2. Ok, I know its early days, but already thinking of GW12:

    Ederson
    Duffy/Robertson/Azpi
    Kante/Pereyra/Salah/Fraser
    Firmino/Mitro/Aguero

    Speroni/Cedric/Cairney/Bennett

    FTx1
    ITB: 2.1m

    Definitely Mitro->Arnie
Thoughts on:- Firmino->Murray, and possibly Fraser->Mane for 8ph. I know Ederson has another toughie, but again its the question of, worth the hit on a goalie.

    • A lot of work to be done here mate.

I would plan on getting rid of Kante, Pereyra, Fraser, Firmino, Mitro, Cedric, and Ciarney over the next few weeks.

My advice is to look at the fixtures of these players, and plot when is best to get rid. For example, Fraser plays Newcastle next, but then has a horrible run of games. So it would make sense to keep him for another game week before selling. Firmino, though out of for, has Fulham at home up next – DO NOT SELL.

Fulham have Liverpool, Southampton, Chelsea, Leicester, United. That would get me looking to get rid of Cairney and Mitro ASAP. So do Mitro to Arnie, then see who you can afford for Cairney.

The rest is up to you!

      • This is much better advise than what I was gonna write 😉

      • elcfc, well mitro is going GW11, and possibly Firmino, maybe Fraser. Firmino is starting to annoy me as he doesnt seem to be doing anything. Yes Pool have liverpool next, but even against Cardiff he only got me 2 points, which isnt a good return.

    • Leave Firmino for Fulham. Bring Arnie in this week. Then wildcard next week

      • Smash, do you think that would be the best thing to do then?
        What about Murray v Cardiff?
That way I can ship out all the dross and bring in better performing players.

        • Yeah I do. Fixtures swing for a lot of your guys after next week. Nah Brighton are useless away but good at home

        • Thoughts on Diangana Hammers?

        • I always intended on doing Mitro->Arnie next week anyway.
Just starting to think Firmino isnt getting me enough points which is why I thought about losing points to bring in Murray for him.
Definitely will think about the WC the week after though, although its international break as well I see.

      • Diangana is a good prospect for the future Smash. Highly rated youngster. Will get some game time.

        • First choice? I might bring him in

        • hey Smash – Rice is more nailed and labelled as a defender. Only 4.4

        • Smash, definitely for now, especially with Noble being out suspended. He is playing exceptionally well at the moment, so no reason to drop him. Pelle rates him, so bring him in, he is getting the points

        • I might take a punt. I have a wildcard I’ll need to use at some point anyway. Thanks Dreamers Rice is fine but this guy looks really good and is playing in the front three. I don’t really like the idea of making the moves tonight though but have exact cash

    • evening hammer. I’ve double City defence. Not even considering not playing one of them. Definitely not worth a hit for Ederson. Fraser has a nice fixture. Yes they play City and Liverpool soon but Arsenal not exactly been brilliant defensively and that hard run technically included Utd today and they scored. I’d suggest Arna in for Mitrovic as well and maybe play Cedric over Kante

    • Don’t drop Firmino before a home game v Fulham. Especially not for a hit.

Getting Arnie in is fine, and enough, for next week.

    • Sell Kevin?!

      • Who is Kevin?

        • Sorry, slightly obscure reference to my comment last night about ‘we need to talk about K….. ante’. The **** should be evin, etc. Google it if you’re still confused smile

        • Inittowinit, i googled, and it mentions the We Need To Talk About Kevin drama/mystery…lol
Will probably do as Smash suggests, Arnie this week, then GW12 do my wildcard…. so Kevin Kante will probably go then with Mike Cairney…lol

  3. Jesus pool that’s poop. :p

  4. Lucas goal, tripp assist

  5. How are spurs 3-0 up?

    • By scoring three goals, I suppose.

      • That usually does it! 😉

        Bloody lucky though really.

        • glad the CS is gone now

        • I’m following it vaguely via the beeb website. There’s a truly ghastly photo of Neves celebrating. I hope Spurs smash in about 5 more for that.

Getting very tight at the top of the table.

      • Sorry to barge in Mr K. I seem to have lost my gravatar. I can’t seem to figure out how to get it back from the directions on my profile (blush…blush…). Please could you help me? Thank you

        • I haven’t the foggiest how you did that Bees but gravs are set over at https://en.gravatar.com/ so as long as the grav is set to the email you use here you should be ok.

Have never linked a team so can’t help on that side of things.

I’m sure things will right themselves and the bloom will return to your loveliness.

        • Bees… Grav as Kralin said, as for the FPL link you need to find your gameweek history on the FPL page (as per pic below), go to it, copy the URL and paste in to the website bit on your profile (as per other pic below).

        • hey bees. what innit showed above is the correct way to link your fpl page to your profile.

  6. who is the Spurs cb and how come he is playing over Sanchez?

    • Tell us, TheDreamers, before it is too late.
