Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 12. Friday night football is back! Don’t get too excited…it’s a bottom of the table clash as Norwich host Watford. Given how bad these two teams are it could be anything from a scoreless draw to a 5-5 cracker. The safe bet is a boring scoreless draw.
Saturday kicks off at lunchtime as an in form Chelsea team host a Palace side who have taken one point from their last three games. 3pm sees a battle between two teams in freefall as Burnley host West Ham. Bournemouth face the long trip north to play Newcastle. Southampton host Everton in a game that will challenge Friday night’s game for the worst game of the weekend! John Lundstram travels to London to face Spurs. Saturday draws to a conclusion as free scoring Leicester host a clueless Arsenal side.
There are two games at 2pm on Sunday as United host Brighton and Wolves host Villa in what is likely to be a fiery Midlands derby. They have unquestionably saved the best for last as at 4:30pm Liverpool host Man City in a game that will play a large part in deciding where the PL title ends up.
The games in full…

Planning ahead here…
Pieters has taken 1 point over the last 5 gameweeks. That’s pretty amazing. So i’m thinking him out and Chambers in for gw 13-15. Arsenal haven’t got much of a defence but fixtures look good. Any better short term options out there?
4.7 to spend but i wouldn’t be suprised if Pieters drops 0.1 before next deadline…
Allan, speaking as a Gooner I wouldn’t touch us with a 10 ft pole. Defence or attack, the club is a mess right now. Any team could beat Arsenal the way they are playing right now. I’d move Mount on for Maddison instead.
Hey Allan – could I tempt you with Janmaat?
Good WC decision.. :biggun:
Played in gw9 though. :hippo:
Impressive post-WC momentum building up!
Hi all,
Sitting on 86 this week with 1.5 ITB with this lot.
I am toying with the idea of adding Henderson as my other keeper. Worth it?
Awesome team there! Pretty much set for the next few gameweeks at the least. Henderson rotates very well with Pope so I’d do it. SHU are a great defensive unit – especially at home.
Assuming nobody gets injured in the IB I’d say that’s a very good idea. Nice rotation, especially for 15 and 16.
Nice team Shrizz! I am sitting
On 2FTs and thinking of getting exactly that midfield.
Thanks guys! Let’s hope there are no major injuries over the break.
Henderson can’t play against United right?
No he can’t.
Guys which of these should I do:
TAA in for Pieters or Salah in for sterling and have 2.3 itb.?
Hard to say without seeing the rest of your team Man U man
Hey Dreamers, My team
Taa or Robertson I’d think.
Cheers bud.
TAA
Better weekend for me. Downgraded Sterling so I could afford either Greenwood or King to Vardy. Should I do it tonight because of his price rise? I do have a WC to fall back on in an emergency.
I wouldn’t personally. I’d certainly do Greenwood to him in due course, probably just not right now.
Planning ahead a few moves for next week. Which of these get the thumbs up? 2FT 0.2itb
1. Kun & Cantwell > Auba & McGinn/Grealish
2. Kun & Cantwell > Jimenez & Martial / Pulisic
3. Kun, CHO & Cantwell > Jimenez, Martial & Pulisic
4. CHO > McGinn / Grealish
Current team
2 looks good. 3 does too but maybe it’s overkill? Could be well worth it long term though.
I can hold the CHO > Pulisic move over for the week after the City game.
My main concern is losing Kun but his points have been dreadful for weeks now
