Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14. We are entering a busy FPL week with no less than 3 game-weeks covering the next 10 days. Game-week 14 kicks off tonight with a visit across the Severn for Wolves – Cardiff will be sniffing blood after watching Huddersfield tame Nuno’s pups last week.

Saturday then brings us six matches – first up we have five 3pm kick-offs as Palace host Burnley, Brighton go to Huddersfield, Leicester welcome Watford, Bournemouth try and stop Pep’s rampant machine and Arnie and his Hammers limp up to Newcastle.

The evening match sees Jose coming up against someone worse off than himself as United travel to Southampton.

Sunday sees our final three matches of GW14 before thoughts turn to the quick turnaround to GW15!
And it’s Derby Day all round as Chelsea host Fulham, Spurs go to Arsenal before Liverpool and Everton wrap things up for us.

If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

    • NIce one. U keeping Doherty? He is generating returns but as a defender, need points from CS’s more than anything as assists/goals usually are bonus territory

      • I think Doherty’s attacking threat means he’s fine, for now.

    I’m looking to get my transfers done tonight, planning to do Barkley > Sterling (can straight swap to Hazard later if required) and Aguero > Wilson/Mitrovic/Murray/Jimenez. Would these moves make sense, and which budget striker would be the best choice to swap Aguero for?

      • Thanks for the reply, yeah he seems like the best option but I already have Fraser from Bournemouth and I feel like with Ranieri in charge now Mitro’s gonna start firing again

        • Not much difference between their form and fixtures so probably best to go with your gut here.

    1) Kun & Hazard to Kane & Eriksen (-4)
    2) Kun & Mane to Kane & Alli (-4)
    3) Kun & Alonso to Kane & David Luiz (-4)
    4) Kun & Robertson to Kane & TAA (-4)
    5) Kun to Auba
    6) Roll the FT
    7) Something else?!

    • If you’re set on getting Kane, then option 4 is the least destructive to the rest of your team I feel.

      • Well I was set on Kane before today. Then Auba smashed it out the park. Now very tempted to just do Kun to Auba. That said, Hazard and Alonso are both looking less impressive. Really torn.

        • Banjo I went 5 in the end. Held on to the other ft two have 2 for game week 16

    • Kun to Auba seems a no-brainer to me, Auba is a much better option than Kane and no need for a -4 and a downgrade elsewhere in your team

      • Were you saying that Auba is a much better option than Kane before today’s game?
        I’m not saying he’s not but judging by the reaction Auba is the 2nd coming!!

        • I agree. I think it’s one (jumping straight into bed with Auba) to er sleep on, especially given Arsenal’s next fixture. After that though, fair deuce, as far as I can see.

    • I’d actually do Kun and Alonso to Kane and TAA… Rather have Robbo and TAA and any of the Chelsea defs, definitely TAA over Luiz…

      • Cheers Zed. You reckon the benefit Kane over Auba is worth fiddling the rest of the team then? As a straight one or the other I’d still go Kane, but form & simplicity makes Auba very tempting.

        • I’m currently torn between Auba and Kane myself, starting slowly to lean towards Auba to be honest, Auba would mean I could keep Martial, don’t know at all whether that’s good or bad though smile I will definitely get Auba instead of Kane if there’s something really useful I can do with the 1.4m…
