Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14. We are entering a busy FPL week with no less than 3 game-weeks covering the next 10 days. Game-week 14 kicks off tonight with a visit across the Severn for Wolves – Cardiff will be sniffing blood after watching Huddersfield tame Nuno’s pups last week.

Saturday then brings us six matches – first up we have five 3pm kick-offs as Palace host Burnley, Brighton go to Huddersfield, Leicester welcome Watford, Bournemouth try and stop Pep’s rampant machine and Arnie and his Hammers limp up to Newcastle.

The evening match sees Jose coming up against someone worse off than himself as United travel to Southampton.

Sunday sees our final three matches of GW14 before thoughts turn to the quick turnaround to GW15!
And it’s Derby Day all round as Chelsea host Fulham, Spurs go to Arsenal before Liverpool and Everton wrap things up for us.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 14 from all at FF247!

    What would u do here?

Like everyone else, I’ve been weighing up Kane or Auba – and then came up with a plan that involves both! How does Kun, Arnie, Hazard & Robertson to Kane, Auba, Anderson & TAA sound?

My problem is that those moves only leave me with 0.1 to play with – and everyone seems to be raising tonight! Would a -8 or -12 be crazy?

If I did the same moves but Alonso to TAA (ie double up on pool defense) instead then I’d have wiggle room on price changes.

    Thoughts?

      Banjo

Just read your post after putting something similar on previous page.

I’m considering a -12 to do those exact moves.

Alternatively I can do Alonso to rudiger instead of Robbo to Trent.

So tempted. Guess we may both be crazy

      • banjomaker says:

Haha glad I’m not the only one!!!! It’ll be interesting to see what the other folk on here think.

        • hammers says:

          That we’re crazy I suspect.

Really like the team after the 12hit though

        • Neilos says:

I too have a similar issue Banjo. I was thinking Kun and Doherty to Auba and Taa. Then Kun and Richarlison to Auba and Anderson. What you going for buddy? Need to do moves fast to beat price changes.

        • banjomaker says:

I’m leaning towards the -12! It’s either that or just a -4 and lose Alonso instead of Robertson. The problem with that is I end up doubling up on pool. I prefer the -12 team, and I’m committed to -8 over the next two weeks anyway, so it’s effectively just an extra -4… I’m trying to justify it to myself now 😉

        • Kunal says:

Bit left field but what if you lose Alonso for Foyth from Spurs, think it should be enough and with Vertonghen red carded, should at least play the next couple of games

        • banjomaker says:

I did consider that actually. Is Foyth busked now? Irrespective of suspensions etc? Would be good short term but wouldn’t be able to switch to TAA later if needed.

        • banjomaker says:

          busked?! nailed I meant

        • Kunal says:

Try Balbeuna or Digne then, Balbeuna decent fixtures and Everton look pretty solid now with the Barca boys in defense

      Kralin says:

I don’t think it’s necessary to take such a massive hit, especially as you’re doing things like swapping Arnie and Anderson (I wouldn’t ditch Arnie just yet).

I honestly think that if Kun’s fit then you don’t need to make a transfer at all.

      Kunal says:

I’m thinking on similar lines as well to get Kane and Auba but I’m hesitant on doing a -8. Probably leave Auba for next gw

Awful gameweek. Hope everyone else did alright!

Guys should I do Kun and Jimenez to PEA and King for a hit.
Or just Kun to PEA. Worried about price rises

      Kralin says:

I doubt many will be captaining Aubameyang this week (15). Personally I’d save the transfer to week 16.

From that GW I’d say 5 of the 6 matches on offer are potentially real bankers for Aubameyang owners.

As they could be for Kun owners (if he’s fit).

Everyone sticking with Salah? Tempting to dump for Sane (already have Sterling)

would be for a hit though

This might set a cat loose amongst some pigeons for anyone with Mane.

Will there be any prezzers this week?

    • 192.1
      Kralin says:

Just watch like a hawk. Or a vaguely interested pigeon.

Last week he was supposed to be out with the sniffles.

But always useful to know this sort of dope.
