Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14

With barely a moment to catch up or give any real thought to a transfer we are back again as we begin on Saturday and end on Monday with a chance for a quick breather before Boxing Day, but take it while you can as once next Saturday is here we then have a game or more every day on 9 of the next 10 days, spanning multiple GW’s. New Years Eve being the only one sans any action.

On that note we shall give you a quick update on our intentions in regards to publishing articles over this busy period. In short we shall have a bumper Christmas Tips on the 22nd with a Site Team edition on Xmas Eve. Beyond that it will probably just have to be ‘Live Match Chats’ with everybody fending for themselves / helping each other out, as the GW’s do literally seem to fall over each other from one day to the next, allowing us scant opportunity to say anything meaningful in-between. We do intend to post a brief FF247 Site Team update each time but there will be none of the usual Fixtures, Tips, Capos etc as there simply isn’t time or room. Plus we like our writers to have a good rest occasionally too!

GW14 itself begins on Saturday at 12.30 pm and ends on Monday night. The full line-up is in the picture below. Just also bear in mind, to complicate matters even more, that there are midweek Milk Cup games which involve Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City, Spurs, Everton and Man United.

Hmmm so having had another play around i could quite easily build a bb team for gw 19 for -4,the hit being for a 2nd playing keeper meaning i would then have to carry extra cash on the bench.I could then FH in gw18 and load up triple city and Spurs but the rest are pretty unappealing.Or have 7 or 8 players for gw18 and use FH in gw19,saving bb for later in season .Its a tricky decision innit !

    • Have you looked at building 11 DGW players and just using TC instead of BB?

      • This is what I am thinking. Not easy to have 15 players that will score lots of points unless you change team a lot. Later in season team value will increase and easier to have better bench.

      • Yes.Would mean going city less and spurs less though.Or i could keep Son and Cancelo and run with 9.

        • Yeah, Pep it’s dangerous anyway. I’ll probably go two city

    • Could you not build it over the next few weeks with no -4?

      I assume you’ll have to fh 18?

    With ings being injured I have come up with the following:

    A. ings to Adam’s and then upgrade Grealish to Son for GW16
    B. Do the above for GW15 and take a -4
    C. Ings and grealish to Kane and Soucek for a -4 (Kane is a decent capo shout for the next 4 GWs)

    Which do you prefer or is there a better option?

    • Either option does leave some cash to sort out my bench as well could upgrade Mitchell to Dallas in GW16 if I took the hit in GW15

        Just Ings to Adams, you might regret not having Grealish v Palace, plus Spurs away at Wolves won’t be easy,
        Then get Son in next week.
        However it all depends on wether you want Kane or Son?

    • You could do KDB and Ings for Kane and Son?

    • Son is also a good captain call. Adam’s could be good over the next 3 4 weeks
