With barely a moment to catch up or give any real thought to a transfer we are back again as we begin on Saturday and end on Monday with a chance for a quick breather before Boxing Day, but take it while you can as once next Saturday is here we then have a game or more every day on 9 of the next 10 days, spanning multiple GW’s. New Years Eve being the only one sans any action.
On that note we shall give you a quick update on our intentions in regards to publishing articles over this busy period. In short we shall have a bumper Christmas Tips on the 22nd with a Site Team edition on Xmas Eve. Beyond that it will probably just have to be ‘Live Match Chats’ with everybody fending for themselves / helping each other out, as the GW’s do literally seem to fall over each other from one day to the next, allowing us scant opportunity to say anything meaningful in-between. We do intend to post a brief FF247 Site Team update each time but there will be none of the usual Fixtures, Tips, Capos etc as there simply isn’t time or room. Plus we like our writers to have a good rest occasionally too!
GW14 itself begins on Saturday at 12.30 pm and ends on Monday night. The full line-up is in the picture below. Just also bear in mind, to complicate matters even more, that there are midweek Milk Cup games which involve Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City, Spurs, Everton and Man United.

Looking/planning ahead. Will only have 6 players for GW18. Would prefer not to use FH with the teams playing. Also not keen to transfer in players I don’t want…what are you guys doing?

I’m less sure. I look at my team now and it’s not that bad for the blank. 8 is prob enough. It’s only Spurs and City to really cover. Other fixtures are tough to call

I’m thinking along those lines as well. And when wildcarding I will try to ensure my bench players are GW18 players, so they can come in for their moment in the sun.
The free hit in 19 appeals in its flexibility in dealing with last minute news, etc.
The bench-boost prepared for as per normal, via the second wildcard later in the season.

Yep.I dont like the thought of missing out on potential points now trying to concentrate on bringing dgw players in for gw19 and then finding these players have lost form,their place or get injured.
