Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 14. A Tuesday night Live Match Chat… Woohoo! Everyone loves a midweek GW don’t they?! The points come thick and fast, no waiting around for the matches to start, it’s all or nothing and done in the blink of an eyelid, relatively. Tuesday has 4 games with Brighton hosting a resurgent Palace, Leicester looking to further disrupt Spurs’ season, an in-form Watford hoping to capitalise on Jose’s indecision as to whether to attack or stifle and it ends with West Brom and Newcastle staring blankly at each other from their own halves, waiting for the other to blink. And probably not even reacting when the other does.
Wednesday concludes our GW with another quick-fire succession of 6 games. Arsenal should see to Huddersfield comfortably, but then we say say that a lot of the Gunners… Bournemouth and Burnley could be anything from 0-0 to 1-0 either way. Exciting times. Chelsea will probably have far too much for Swansea and a heavy defeat could well see Mr Beleaguered on a park bench by Thursday morning. Moyesie will be looking to put one over on his old club as West Ham host Everton and Man City will be looking for a cricket score at home to the boring Saints before Stoke host Liverpool in the final game.

Gameweek Tracker GW15-22
Average looking like 13 from 4. Roughly.
28 from GroB, Pogba, Vardy, & Kane(c). Feeling okay about it. Hoping Morata scores but doesn’t go mental and Hazard stays quiet. Not holding my breath though…
How are Kane captainers feeling this morning? Nervous? Reasonably satisfied?
He scored so can’t be too dejected. But yeah a bit disappointed but as long as your captain don’t blank
Yeah was better than nothing – shame he lost the bps.
Probably all be relative to how their alternative choice gets on tonight, which would probably have been a Chelsea player. Just shows what a difference those small bonus points can make though, Saturdays goal with 2 looked pretty decent, last nights goal with none looked distinctly average.
Yes indeed – I was relatively happy with 8, but 6 looks like an underperformance. I changed late from Morata, so as you say, tonight will tell us more.
Morning All,
I didn’t make a transfer yesterday so I have 2FT for the weekend and 3m ITB. Id appreciate some advice on the moves to make but currently I am thinking that I should do 2 of the following:
Jesus to Morata
Carroll to RLC
Cedric to Chelsea/Man City defender (Otamendi or Christensen possibly)
Hi daboyo, I think the two Chelsea is the way to go there. Depends on them coming through tonight unscathed of course. I’d prefer a Chelsea defender over a City one looking at the next 4 fixtures for both. They have CL on Tuesday but I’d expect that’ll be the one when they rest any key players with them already being through.
Understand the RLC one but I’d be happy enough to play your other 4 mids this week.
Cheers init – I think you are right.
Would you recommend penny pinching and go for Christensen or splurge for Alonso/Azpi….
I was looking myself last night as I think I’ll be buying one this week and I was 0.2 shy on Azpilicueta and Alonso. I’d have preferred Azpi out of the lot. Christensen should be fairly nailed now with the Luiz news. I’ve always liked Cahill as an alternative as he’s such a threat from set pieces. Just depends if you need that money elsewhere at all.
Hey Init what is the news on Luiz ???
Supposed knee injury. Could just be a ruse though.
Silvers…
Cheers Init had to do some work again 😉
Anyone seen Cookie?

He’ll be doing laps of honour. And as if by some sort of fate he already covers West Brom in the Team News.
That’s more than just fate.
calciomercato.com an Italian football site suggest Conte will rest Hazard & Kante tonight as they are both carrying niggles.
“Following their crucial clash against Liverpool this weekend, it appears Antonio Conte will take a measured approach to Wednesday’s Premier League match against struggling Swansea. With Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante still feeling the effects of their injuries, the Italian tactician appears ready to give the duo a rest this evening.
The Liverpool match followed their Champions League clinching victory over Qarabag on Wednesday, which has put strain on the health of his two most important outfield players.”
Could do with that being a load of rubbish…
Mark my words.
i (c) Hazard. He’ll score twice + 1 assist giving me 36 points.
Hope so for your sake rein.
:ok:
