Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. Live Match Chat on a Tuesday? Surprise! Well, we hope not… Live Match Chat on a Friday last time did seem to flummox a few site regulars though. This despite many, many mentions of the early deadline as well as a bloody big countdown timer on site with not only the date on it but an actual countdown timer, who knew. And these are site members who come on and use the facilities. Now this is not to denigrate them at all, we feel for them and hope they do better in future. It’s more to point out that if they are missing such tricks then just imagine how many of your your mini-league rivals, who may pay even less attention, will probably drop similar balls. Lovely! The moral being… don’t even mention it in passing to them, simply rock up in work the next day and ask them who they transferred in.

These midweek games are like speed dating compared to our usual drawn out affairs. Tuesday sees four of them, it begins at 7.45pm and will be done and dusted by 10pm. Bournemoth v Huddersfield, Brighton v Palace and West Ham v Cardiff all kick off our short week followed 15 minutes later by Watford v Man City. And that’s Tuesday over.

Wednesday sees the remaining 6 games and again they will be over in the blink of a fantasy eye. Burnley v Liverpool, Everton v Newcastle, Fulham v Leicester and Wolves v Chelsea are our ‘early’ ones, followed by Man United v Arsenal and then Spurs hopefully putting the final icing on the cake of a decent gameweek by sealing Mark Hughes’ departure at 8pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 15 from all at FF247!

  1. Timw to sell Alonso?

    • Yeah could be. Don’t think he’s been good again

    • probably but most likely have bigger problems

      • I need a cash cow. Tempted by Lacazette in for Arnie and gives me 4.4 for Alonso replacement

    • Alonso is the least of my worries at the moment

    • No,because you have a guy who is 7.1 and is virtually a midfielder and is near top points producer for a defender. Where else do you get a player for that price and that points production?

  2. So Kane (dont have) has done the business. Might be an option to lose Salah/Arna to ?/Kane

    • I would definitely want him for the fixtures ahead, one thing we do know with him is that rotation isn’t usually an issue.

      • Yeah that was my attitude on Kane for December over the City players. We know he will most likely play

    • The nice thing you get with Kane is the lack of sweat over whether he’ll play or not. He usually does.

Takes up a lot budget but takes away a fair amount of worry.

      • Kralin, (and apologies for interrupting a convo everyone!), check your emails for the new Xmas rota.

  3. Well, I was excited that Alonso was in thebstarting 11, but now I wish he hadn’t been because I’d be getting Doherty off the bench…

  4. Let’s wrap it up. No CS in the entire round 😯

  5. After a triple hit I’m only projected to drop 19k… I’ll take that!

    • Cant complain with that Banjo

      • For sure! It was looking a lot worse a couple of hours ago.

      • He could if he tried, surely the ultimate aim was a rise?! smile

        • Always capable of complaining 😉

And nah, wasn’t necessarily aiming for a rise this week. For me it was about setting up for the upcoming fixtures, which I’ve managed with minimum damage.

That’s not to say I’ll be that reckless more often!

    • I actually just bothered to look and the 4 players I brought in scored exactly 12 points more than the 4 I ditched, i.e. I broke even on the 12 point hit.

And that doesn’t take into account that it meant I could cappo Kane.

  6. Re-think

option 1 – Wilson in for Arna
    Option 2 – a whopping -8 with Kane/Sane/enabler in for Arna/Salah/Alonso

Yes option 2 is inconsistent to earlier posts
