Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. Live Match Chat on a Tuesday? Surprise! Well, we hope not… Live Match Chat on a Friday last time did seem to flummox a few site regulars though. This despite many, many mentions of the early deadline as well as a bloody big countdown timer on site with not only the date on it but an actual countdown timer, who knew. And these are site members who come on and use the facilities. Now this is not to denigrate them at all, we feel for them and hope they do better in future. It’s more to point out that if they are missing such tricks then just imagine how many of your your mini-league rivals, who may pay even less attention, will probably drop similar balls. Lovely! The moral being… don’t even mention it in passing to them, simply rock up in work the next day and ask them who they transferred in.

These midweek games are like speed dating compared to our usual drawn out affairs. Tuesday sees four of them, it begins at 7.45pm and will be done and dusted by 10pm. Bournemoth v Huddersfield, Brighton v Palace and West Ham v Cardiff all kick off our short week followed 15 minutes later by Watford v Man City. And that’s Tuesday over.

Wednesday sees the remaining 6 games and again they will be over in the blink of a fantasy eye. Burnley v Liverpool, Everton v Newcastle, Fulham v Leicester and Wolves v Chelsea are our ‘early’ ones, followed by Man United v Arsenal and then Spurs hopefully putting the final icing on the cake of a decent gameweek by sealing Mark Hughes’ departure at 8pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 15 from all at FF247!

Hey folks. 2FTs and definitely want to do Arnie > Kane, but unsure which way to fund this:

    a) Salah > Sane (or Spurs mid)
    b) Hazard > Felipe Anderson

It has to be a) right?

      Smash says:

I quite like B. Though I like both

      • Chipster says:

Yeah, I like both too 🙂

Will probably ship both Salah and Haz out over the next couple of GWs to be honest, but I’m feeling Haz is slightly better value than Salah atm, so will probably do the Salah move first.

      Otieno says:

Depends on the rest of you team Chip. Do you have other Liverpool, Man C or Chelsea cover? Salah to Son would be my choice until new year.

      • Chipster says:

Thanks Dave. My team should be linked. I have Salah, Sterling and Hazard as attacking cover from those three teams.

If I did go for a Spurs mid, then Son is the one I’m most interested in, so it’s good to hear that you like that move too 🙂

      Loud Atlas says:

Yeah: A. Sané probably over a TOT mid. CHE on the ropes; and MCI scoring for fun. What’s not to like 😀 ?

      Kralin says:

Yes (a) probably, in the sense one’d fancy Sane more than Anderson. Hazard to Anderson, good fixtures notwithstanding, seems more punty a move. Though Hazard in his turn could be thrown over later for another City mid, or Mane when he’s back, etc.

      • Chipster says:

        Thanks Doyle 😀

You’re right – Haz > Anderson is punty. I’ve gone off that idea quite quickly now.

As I just said above to Smash, I think Haz will leave the chipsters in the next couple of weeks and I can then afford a Spurs mid or indeed another City mid as you suggest.

How did the good ship Kralin fare in the Midweek Melee?

        • Kralin says:

          No worries.

A really good week, >70, nobody in my ML captained Kane as far as I can see, so a big profit there, and my mid of Shaq/Richarlison/Fraser and Salah to a certain extent all chipped in. Into the top 50k, possibly, so not bad.

But you were on the cusp of the top 1000 I think – I hope your week went well.

        • Chipster says:

That’s superb Kralin. Well done mate 🙂

I rose briefly to 1747 OR last Saturday, only to settle at 3498 OR at the end of the last GW. But not a very good GW for me this time, so I will be dropping about 8K to around 11.5K I think.

I will pick myself up, dust myself down, and start climbing towards the summit of the OR monolith once more 😀

        • Chipster says:

So, not the total disaster GW in the end. 44pts was only 1 below the average, but the red arrow slide was only 3.2K so I’m still comfortably in top 10K.

Salah and Arnie already out for Sane and Kane.

          Bring on the weekend 😀

      Zed Leppelin says:

I’m thinking of Salah/Arnie to Kane and Anderson… Can’t quite afford it like you can, so it has to be Anderson for Salah for me, plus will get Sterling for Haz… I don’t think I want a Spurs mid if I get Kane, so I’d get Sane if I were you!

    Otieno says:

    Cup Tactics time
What should I do with Arnie ?
    Ederson (Hamer)
    Alonso, VVD, Stones, Bruno, Bellerin
    Siggy, Rich, Casa, Son, Martial
    Kane, Auno, Arnie 0FT 0.1itb
Don’t mind hits for this last week, our ML gets equal prize for cup run as OP so that’s been my experimental target this year. (Only my second season in FPL)

    beno1234 says:

    How crazy is:

Salah and Arnie to Richarlison and Kane? (-4)

    I’ve got 1FT and 0.4 ITB

    constantine says:

My team is in shambles guys. Please suggest what to do. Can take hits. Kane seems a must for now, with Mendy taking up a lot of cash. Salah/Hazard not returning as expected, with better value in other players.

    ODT says:

After much griping yesterday I have to concede I had a decent GW. I think I will end over 60 when BP are awarded. Ok that said I have some thinking to do. I have already brought in Wilson with the 1 FT I had. Question for y’all is do I take a PH or two ( I could afford it right now) to plug some of the holes. Team posted below. Concerns are Robbo, Duffy and Murray. They could all ride the bench for a week but I thought I would ask you if any of them are worth a PH and to whom would you throw that to?

    SAFs_hairdryer says:

This is what I’m left with for next week.

If I do Arnie, Mane & Robertson > Kane, TAA & 5.6mid who are the best options?
    Snodgrass? RLC?
