Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 15. Live Match Chat on a Tuesday? Surprise! Well, we hope not… Live Match Chat on a Friday last time did seem to flummox a few site regulars though. This despite many, many mentions of the early deadline as well as a bloody big countdown timer on site with not only the date on it but an actual countdown timer, who knew. And these are site members who come on and use the facilities. Now this is not to denigrate them at all, we feel for them and hope they do better in future. It’s more to point out that if they are missing such tricks then just imagine how many of your your mini-league rivals, who may pay even less attention, will probably drop similar balls. Lovely! The moral being… don’t even mention it in passing to them, simply rock up in work the next day and ask them who they transferred in.

These midweek games are like speed dating compared to our usual drawn out affairs. Tuesday sees four of them, it begins at 7.45pm and will be done and dusted by 10pm. Bournemoth v Huddersfield, Brighton v Palace and West Ham v Cardiff all kick off our short week followed 15 minutes later by Watford v Man City. And that’s Tuesday over.

Wednesday sees the remaining 6 games and again they will be over in the blink of a fantasy eye. Burnley v Liverpool, Everton v Newcastle, Fulham v Leicester and Wolves v Chelsea are our ‘early’ ones, followed by Man United v Arsenal and then Spurs hopefully putting the final icing on the cake of a decent gameweek by sealing Mark Hughes’ departure at 8pm.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 15 from all at FF247!

  1. Hi guys,

    I’m considering
    a. Hazard&Arnie to Son(or Alli)&Lacazette (-4)
    b. Hazard&Arnie to Fraser&Kane (-4)

Which one do you prefer? To be honest I’m leaning towards a. at the moment.
    Or any other suggestions?

  2. Could have had a worse game week but ended up on 56 so can’t complain! I need to do something with Arnie though, who is best? Mitrovic, Jimenez or someone else? Should I be looking at downgrading Robertson or Alonso?

    • Mitrovic is one of those players who I keep meaning to get rid of, don’t, and who pops up with a few points now and then to make me feel guilty about thinking of dropping him. For his price he’s done pretty well and I would say of those sub 7m strikers the only other one who interests me that you don’t have is Jiminez (at this particular moment).

  3. Went for an early transfer this gw! Arnie to Wilson and Salah to Anderson. Feels really good having all that Salah cash – 6.5 itb should help with transfers over next couple of weeks.

    • Nice one! I agree that The cash invested in Salah could be used elsewhere more effectively.

      • Should have got rid weeks ago really but is difficult to when they cost so much initially as the rest of the team is set up around him really. Time for Salah to troll everyone with a hatty against Bournemouth now!

    • No Pool attack db, could be dangerous.

  4. Decent gw in the end with 59 points and retaining the top spot in my mini league by 35 points. Only blip was not having Doherty as first sub. Arnie replacement still undecided and probably I’d go Wilson over mitro.

    • Nice one! Hope the gig was good, the prediction of 4-1 in the Spurs match wasn’t far off!

      • True swirly. Kane failed to meet his quota ahaha

        • Haha, yeah! At least he didn’t blank anyway, as my captains had done a good few gameweeks beforehand!

  5. Hi guys,
Can I get some feedback on his WC please?

    • Are you just planning the three transfers with your WC? Or have others been done beforehand this gameweek? I only ask as the players who you have to bring in are worth bringing – however I wouldn’t use a wildcard for just three, personally.

      • Swirly I have already made about 8 tonight lol

        • Oh, haha! It’s fair to say you’re making your wildcard worth it then! Nice looking team, that is – after how well he did for Villa last season and seems to be doing at the moment for West Ham, I like the Snodgrass pick!

  6. I pulled the trigger on the WC. Here’s a before and after. I’m quite excited about this team, and if it turns out to be a complete shambles, there’s another WC on the horizon! Thanks to everyone who has provided input (and given I have read every single comment posted this entire week, that means EVERYONE!).

    • I like that Lucas pick, reckon he could step to the plate in Arnie’s absence, however the only thing I’d say is that there isn’t any Arsenal attacking coverage in there. Is it worth downgrading Alonso who, like Chelsea, has gone off the boil and upgrade to Lacazette with that extra money? He only played a bit of the Man U match tonight and so could feature the full 90 against Huddersfield. Oh and keep an eye on Trippier as he came off injured tonight. Just my thoughts anyway, great looking team otherwise.

      • Cheers Swirly! Yeah the Lucas pick (punt?) excites me. Thanks for the heads up on Trips – I hadn’t noticed that. Hopefully he’s alright. Your point about Arsenal is a good one. I could do Wilson —> Lacazette but that would mean I’d have to do Alonso —> a 4.1 (i.e. Yoshida) and Wilson’s been hurting me all season. Hmmmmmm…….

      • Have done Trips —> Laporte.

      • Turns out I got 67 points and a healthy green arrow taking me from 202k to 131k. Why did I wildcard?!
