Yep I think Jimenez and zaha will be going with Tammy and son coming in!!
Nice idea! I’m thinking KDB and Jimenez to Son and Abraham. Is that crazy?
No I don’t think so. I did Jimenez to Rashford and KDB to Maddy.
I think both of those are good transfers guys.
Yeah I mean I like Jimenez and he has done well but some tough fixtures coming up…
Great moves!
Some people say Messi is the greatest of all time… has he beaten both Mourinho and Guardiola, the greatest managers since Ferguson, in the span of a week? I think not! Therefore it is Solskjær who is the real G.O.A.T., the greatest of all time. I rest my case… :worthy:
Also, congratulations to Leicester for the PL title! :big-lol:
I think Liverpool will struggle over the Christmas period, won’t be surprised if Leicester are no1 come the new year.
City were more impressive defensively when Mangala was in the starting eleven. When Laporte and Sane return in January they will be a new team, but I fear that when that time comes it may already be too late.
Taking it well then.
I did not see the defeat coming init, I think it’s still denial on my part to be honest. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse defensive display from City, though it’s pretty annoying when City are usually the better team in the match but still end up giving away points.
I’m not very impressed with the way Liverpool play either, but they always manage to come through and win the match. If City were to convert their possession into goals and Liverpool were to lose that edge that makes them pull through then the tables could turn, but there’s nothing that indicates that will happen in the moment. So who knows where City will end up this season :suicide:
3rd.
See what Boxing Day brings then
Remember that Leicester will be going into that match full of confidence after having beaten City the weekend before!
We rolled City over at Anfield but if they beat Leicester then its Liverpool’s to lose. The only thing that will stop Liverpool is injuries or fatigue as they have to take part in the World Championship for the best part of a week and then come back and play an important match. If they win the WC then their confidence will be sky high.
We also have Watford at home before all that.
Do you honestly think any of them give a crap about winning that ‘competition’? They’ll play and win it of course but it’s hardly one they will hang their careers on.
Looks like they have to beat Flamengo to win it. Playing 2 different sides in different parts of the world in this and the Carabo Cup.Crazy !!
Good evening, folks, how’re you doing?
I sold Abraham for Jiménez just before the midweek matches — damn that orange flag — now, although Jiménez recouped a few of the resulting lost points with today’s assist, I feel obliged to bring back Abraham for Bournemouth (H) or switch things up completely with Rashford for his next 6 fixtures or so. This would meaning selling KDB with 2 FTs before various price changes.
Any preferences on the following duos: Son + Abraham vs Maddison + Rashford (vs Maddison + Abraham)?
I’ve got Vardy and Kane, so there’s not much between Son and Maddison, really.
I think those combinations are much of a muchness. Depends if you want double Spurs (3 ‘easy’ fixtures in the next 5) or double Leicester (2 ‘easy’ fixtures in the next 5).
Think I’d go with option 1
Is Son rising in price? Have exact money to do Mount to Son. Already have Ali.
Either that or wait till deadline and upgrade Ings to Rashfors. But Ings is doing pretty well himself.
I certainly wouldn’t sell Ings in a hurry. Son’s rising.
Son will go up tonight B.
I made the change myself B. Mount for Son. Figured I’d take a risk anyway what with the CL matches coming up. Sons afterburners kinda pushed me into it.
How’d everyone get on? (Presuming no one’s foolish enough to own any ARS/WHU players :mosking: ).
66 points total this week :bop: .
Hooray for:
– Cap Vardy
– Son
– Salah
Boohissboo for:
– Everyone else (1 or 2 points each  ).
I’ll be on 66 with auto subs too, Atlas.
Think can be pretty content with that score.
67 with autosubs. 2 points from Lundstram incoming
Captain Vardy saved my gw
What moves are you looking at next, Wafflez?
I’m considering KDB to Son acknowledging that leaves me with no city
Looks like kdb will drop tonight and son go up so i just did that move…
Ah thanks for the heads up, Allan
Is that just chasing points? KDB was City’s best player against UTD and will produce long term as City will, although I only own KDB. If you have Sterling though, sell him all day long.
When the Mourinho effect has worn off and the players hate him, and when city has got their stuff back together you can change back.
But right now, Son is on fire and kdb is not. From a fpl point of view that is…
KDB to Alli and Jimenez to Rashford.
Getting City cover back gw21
Will end up with 58 after mount comes in for mané.
44 points from 3 players.
14 points from 8 players…
May I ask what folks are thinking of doing with their Liverpool assets for gw18 (I have just 2-Mane and A-A).
Same 2 players for me.I will just bench them as I have too much value built up in them. Liverpool will have an early DDW so keep them if you can.
I only have mane and i will just bench him. All of my players have tough fixtures in gw 18…
Thanks very much for the comments. Kruzcampo, may I ask what you expect for an early dgw? I can’t see anything posted yet?
I have 3, haven’t gotten around ditching VVD will probably transfer him out and bench the other 2
There’s no reason there will be Ki, it’s just bluster as usual.
Depends if they get through to the Champions league round of 16 which is February and through the 3rd round of the FA Cup against Everton, and West Ham get through against Gillingham. Carabo Cup may be a problem if they beat Villa with a kids team. Maybe midweek between 1sr and 8th of Feb. But all ifs and buts.
71 here but two big mistakes made. Bringing in Jesus instead of Ings as originally planned and not taken a hit to do Pope-Guaita. Hey ho :don-t_mention:
83.
You’ve nailed it, Init. Nice one.
Not necessarily. Regretful over not doing the obvious Sterling to Alli move but I’ve got 2 FT’s now instead, I suppose.
Nice!
The Guaita factor  :good:
That was a proactive decision and one that marks progress because usually I’d have just sat on Pope and hoped for the best.
63 once Kelly comes off the bench for Mane. Same for me whereby thank God for Maddison, Son and Vardy – all the rest had a shocker!
64. it seems a half decent score this week.
DeBruyne and Stirling stinking it up in the midfield.
Stirling gone for Son. My three big ‘must have’ from GW1, Salah, Kun & Stirling are all gone.
86pts, with 2pts for Ayew still to sub on for Mane.
Easily my best GW of the season so far 😀
49 from 9 with luckily Son to come as VC. So, 61 total points with Chambers still to go. Expecting 2 points atleast. So, would end the GW on 63 points. Hopefully a green arrow again..
