Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. And we are back at it again…
GW16 kicks off at Goodison with Big Dunc in temporary charge of The Toffees and awaiting the second coming of Moyes The Messiah. Chelsea come to town for this lunchtime bonanza hoping to heap more misery on the blue half of Merseyside.
A trio of 3pm matches follow as Champions elect LiVARpool go to Bournemouth, Spurs welcome Burnley and Watford host Palace. The Manchester derby follows early evening as United take the short trip across the city to fill out the Etihad.
Sunday sees four matches with three of them starting at 2pm – Villa welcome Leicester, Southampton take the long trip to Newcastle while Sheffield United take the cross country trip to Norwich. The late game sees Wolves travel to Brighton.
Our game-week concludes Monday evening with another derby as West Ham and Arsenal vie for the title of London’s funniest.

I am equally solid on not capping Vardy, this is the classic case, I cap Vardy and he gets 5 points whereas the other choice I had scores 15pts, then I cap Alli instead thinking he has a good chance of outscoring Vardy, and it goes all sour, then the normal thing for me to do would be to cap Vardy again, and he would no doubt get less points than Mane again, but now I am more clever, I will cap Mane and not Vardy!!! I refuse to dance this dance of fantasy death
if you cap mane zed, vardy will outscore him 😛

In all seriousness, even if they didn’t Vardy’s and Leicester’s form suggests only a mad man stays away from captaining him at home vs Norwich.

That’s what I thought before GW15, and I was wrong…
And it was home to Watford
Watford, as bad as they are, are a better defensive unit than Norwich as per that exact match your are quoting (vs Leicester away). I’m not saying Mane/Salah can’t score doube digit hauls but I’ve just seen Leicester play vs Villa and boy they are really enjoying this. They make it seem so easy and Vardy especially. He’s always very near to score everytime they come out of the gates. MAne and Salah have each other as competitors in terms of goal opportunities whereas Vardy is the main man. He’s also on penalties. I don’t know, I have Salah and had it on him before this game but right now it’s on Vardy.
Don’t know, Villa were awful today, their midfield was non-existent today, I don’t think Norwich will be that bad, and Mane is in great form at the moment too, let’s see how the CL goes…

Thankyou Jamie Vardy! Your intervention prevented me from becoming a total laughing stock in front of the whole FPL community! Thanks to you, the red arrows that I receive will not be as sharp and pointy as previously thought! After the much publicised 16 for 7 (players) after Saturday, I’ll be on a more reasonable 57 at GW’s end.

You will be using your WC soon, use it in your advantage and enjoy a season of comeback, the winter/spring will be looooong and there’s still everything to play for :yes:
You are still well in a position where you can reach a top 100k spot Smash. Even more if things go your away. Don’t panic, use the WC wisely and you are in for a nice and steady comeback. As long as you are not in the wrong side of top 500k come the dgws you are still able to climb to 100k.
