Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. Last week the author of this short article waxed lyrical about the return of ‘The Lord’ and Big Sam. Unfortunately we have no returning greats this week but we doubt you could top those two numpties anyway.
Chelsea, yet again, kick off our game-week at lunchtime on Saturday as they visit a West Ham side who have not been revitalised by their new manager. Hardly surprising as it is David Moyes.
3pm on Saturday afternoon brings us five more games. None of which are likely to set pulses racing. Marco ‘you’re not as good as Big Sam’ Silva brings his Watford side to Burnley. Crystal Palace who are unbeaten in their last four at home welcome Bournemouth. Newbies Huddersfield & Brighton face each other at the John Smiths Stadium. Spurs face Stoke as Harry Kane battles to save his FPL career. And a team who recently sacked Tony Pulis face a team who will soon appoint Tony Pulis as Swansea host West Brom.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as a Newcastle team in freefall welcome Leicester City.
For once, Sunday actually is a Super Sunday! At lunchtime Arsenal travel down to Southampton for a game that is nothing but an appetiser for what’s to come. At 2:15pm Liverpool and Everton meet for the 229th time. Recent history certainly favours the red side of Merseyside but Big Sam is likely to have his side fired up for the encounter. The main course arrives at 4:30pm in the shape of the Manchester derby as 2nd hosts 1st. Let’s hope this is more like last week’s game between United and Arsenal rather than the recent Liverpool v United game. Whatever the outcome Jose will surely have something to moan about.

Can go Surman to Silva? (cant get Sterling) or Daniels to Valencia (as the only really nailed Utd defender if you know what I mean).

if I get Valencia I can still get Shaqiri?
If I go (say Kabasale), its either Sterling or Silva
so would you prefer Valencia and Shaqiri or Kabasale and Sterling/Silva?
Valencia is too expensive for me,id want more attacking returns at that price and im just not a fan of shaqira.Kabasele is a good shout.The choice of mids is getting very narrow now meaning its all getting very template but a City mid is a must really.Sterling more explosive but Silva more steady.Coin flip on those 2 at the moment.Think one or both of them might get rotated midweek though ahead of Spurs.
I like Surman to Silva to bolster up your midfield, to be honest.
Ramsey -> Richarlison or Shaqiri?
Or hold off till tomorrow? Not sure how bad Ramseys injury is.

Richarlison playing in the better team and has been unlucky of late so id go for him

0.4m as already moved Daniels -> Otamendi.
Not entirely sure of my team direction at the moment tbh – probably want Pogba in for Richarlison after suspension so would need to work some funds in the defence for that.

Or a simple Niasse to Calvert-Lewin a bit sideways but probably guarantees you a starter for Toon and Swansea in the next two. Think Big Sam definitely showed his preference now.
What Inertia suggested not a bad idea either. Kenny or Mausaku also an option, but I figured you might want more money itb for a Ramsey move if the news is not as good as expected.

Too much money in that defence for my liking Gp.I’d be looking to downgrade Daniels and Courtois in the futuret to free up some cash.Ramsey is your first problem though.If you fancy a punt how about Son at Spurs ?

57 pts and a green arrow. 2 pts or less for everyone except Fabianski, Salah, and captain Kane. Mixed feelings. From weeks 10-14 Otamendi got a total of 5 pts. So I switched him out I Christiansen. In the past 2 weeks Christensen has 4 pts and Otamendi has 21… now I bring in Ramsey for Pogba and he gets injured. Just my luck this season… SMH

I had him for a period and got shut when it became obvious City couldnt keep a clean sheet anymore.He does get forward a lot though ill give him that and that was a strikers finish today !
He had a higher average position than Ander Herrera today.

Ha.When City played Huddersfield a couple of weeks back i couldnt believe how much he got forward.He joined in with every attack in the first half and was almost playing like a support striker then running back to defend !!
I did notice him today sitting up there about 25 yards from goal moving the ball around with Silva, Sane, KdB and the rest of them. Was thinking what the hell is he doing up there, but he looked comfortable, even had his back to goal once or twice the silly t**t.
I might bring him back in….. : D

Is it worth doing Ramsey out? Have 3.5 itb so can get any mid bar hazard or Sanchez. Or just watch mid-week and cry, I think rotation will get a lot of us.

Perhaps just do Daniels to someone so you can bench Fuchs? Team looks good otherwise – with rotation creeping in now a few of those could be good differentials.
