Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. Last week the author of this short article waxed lyrical about the return of ‘The Lord’ and Big Sam. Unfortunately we have no returning greats this week but we doubt you could top those two numpties anyway.
Chelsea, yet again, kick off our game-week at lunchtime on Saturday as they visit a West Ham side who have not been revitalised by their new manager. Hardly surprising as it is David Moyes.
3pm on Saturday afternoon brings us five more games. None of which are likely to set pulses racing. Marco ‘you’re not as good as Big Sam’ Silva brings his Watford side to Burnley. Crystal Palace who are unbeaten in their last four at home welcome Bournemouth. Newbies Huddersfield & Brighton face each other at the John Smiths Stadium. Spurs face Stoke as Harry Kane battles to save his FPL career. And a team who recently sacked Tony Pulis face a team who will soon appoint Tony Pulis as Swansea host West Brom.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as a Newcastle team in freefall welcome Leicester City.
For once, Sunday actually is a Super Sunday! At lunchtime Arsenal travel down to Southampton for a game that is nothing but an appetiser for what’s to come. At 2:15pm Liverpool and Everton meet for the 229th time. Recent history certainly favours the red side of Merseyside but Big Sam is likely to have his side fired up for the encounter. The main course arrives at 4:30pm in the shape of the Manchester derby as 2nd hosts 1st. Let’s hope this is more like last week’s game between United and Arsenal rather than the recent Liverpool v United game. Whatever the outcome Jose will surely have something to moan about.

Well that was a bad start to 3-5-2!! I’ve got 0.9 ITB, so the plan was to beef up the defense, but now I feel Rambo needs fixing. What’s my best option here? I’m tempted to just play Calvert-Lewin for the next couple and then maybe do Rambo to Pogba? Son’s game time concerns me. If I do the Pogba move in a week or two then I can try and tidy the defense a bit first. Would I be crazy to lose Daniels for a West Ham defender? Any other good options at the back. I’d be happy to do Sane to Sterling to free up more funds. I’d like Christensen. As you can tell I’m at a bit of a loose end now!!!! Thanks.

Not crazy, but probably a bit unhinged. I would lose Daniels though.
Thanks Robbo. I might just do Daniels to Christensen this week. That leaves enough for Sane & Rambo to Sterling & Pogba, whilst I ponder over a West Ham defender.
Daniels > Christiensen is good.
Worth remembering that West Ham have a blank in GW21. I’ll consider them from the double in GW22 as they have a decent run after. Of their three before the blank, two are away so I don’t see much point yet.
Glad that week turned out well after the piss poor showing last week.
Thinking of doing Kun, Gross & Daniels > Firminho, Sterling & Jones.
Got 2FT and 0itb. Could leave the Jones move another week as it’s not needed for funds. Would have liked Christensen but 0.1 short for that move.

Don’t think De Bruyne deserved the assist for Silva’s goal today, but how does Abraham get the assist for Bony’s goal?
I remember the argie bargie from the corner and Bony smashing the ball in. I assume Abraham didnt get the final touch?
He must have done enough to warrant the assist. Maybe per the ‘unintentional’ rule??
Hope everyone had a good gw. Kinda mess mine up. Anyway I guess I have to replace Ramsey. I guess Man city players would be the usual template-ish team. Any ideas guys?
Would you be interested in Mahrez? You could afford him and he’s quite the differential (5.5%) and coming back in to form.
