Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 16. Last week the author of this short article waxed lyrical about the return of βThe Lordβ and Big Sam. Unfortunately we have no returning greats this week but we doubt you could top those two numpties anyway.
Chelsea, yet again, kick off our game-week at lunchtime on Saturday as they visit a West Ham side who have not been revitalised by their new manager. Hardly surprising as it is David Moyes.
3pm on Saturday afternoon brings us five more games. None of which are likely to set pulses racing. Marco βyouβre not as good as Big Samβ Silva brings his Watford side to Burnley. Crystal Palace who are unbeaten in their last four at home welcome Bournemouth. Newbies Huddersfield & Brighton face each other at the John Smiths Stadium. Spurs face Stoke as Harry Kane battles to save his FPL career. And a team who recently sacked Tony Pulis face a team who will soon appoint Tony Pulis as Swansea host West Brom.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as a Newcastle team in freefall welcome Leicester City.
For once, Sunday actually is a Super Sunday! At lunchtime Arsenal travel down to Southampton for a game that is nothing but an appetiser for whatβs to come. At 2:15pm Liverpool and Everton meet for the 229th time. Recent history certainly favours the red side of Merseyside but Big Sam is likely to have his side fired up for the encounter. The main course arrives at 4:30pm in the shape of the Manchester derby as 2nd hosts 1st. Letβs hope this is more like last weekβs game between United and Arsenal rather than the recent Liverpool v United game. Whatever the outcome Jose will surely have something to moan about.

3rd week in a row saw some green arrows…;) atlast the bad run has come to an end…don’t want to jinx it…oops…:p
Holding on to ft..hoping that city drop some points in the coming weeks..:/
Good stuff chanaraj!
I hope City slip up soon too. Make it interesting. Can’t see it though.
How was your he GP??
One under average!
Hi guys,
Appreciate your advice…
1 ft & 1.5m itb
Broncos,
Ramsey to Silva or Coutinho? Not sure if Coutinho is affordable or not…..
+1. Good suggestions!
Done Ramsey to Silva…TQ guys
Hi chaps. A bit up and down these past weeks, yo-yo-ing between 25k and 100k– good rankings overall, but I’d like to stop having bad weeks!
Got 2 FTs and 1.8m in the bank. Thinking of a WC soon (want Kane, Salah, and perhaps a cheaper defence) but for this week how does Wilson + Gross > Calvert-Lewin + Silva sound? I can do Niasse + Sterling instead but Niasse isn’t playing, and Silva is not a bad option instead of Sterling. Can’t reach Mahrez or Coutinho as the premium mid, could to Martial or Son, but City cover feels necessary. Thanks!
Pippin,
I wouldn’t hesitate to get Kane and Salah in to be honest mate.
+1
Sooner the better.
Better start planning my WC then!
Trouble is, Kane leaves a team very unbalanced. Might have a look at 4-5-1 for a laugh…
As a suggestion, Kane, Firmino and DCL for a front three must leave you some good ££s for a good midfield and defence.
Thanks GP, that’s a good call. If Bobby’s form holds then he’s certainly a good 2nd premium option
RIP chelsea? Lol
Not so sure on that snookie:
As a RM fan I would be more than happy if Chelsea manages to knock out Barca, but with those fixtures surrounding it would be really diffcult as they can’t rotate much
UEFA Champions League Round of 16
Hello guys, pretty average score this gameweek with 48 points thanks to Harry and Captain Salah. So now 2 free transfers and 0.7 in the bank, do you have any suggestions for me?
Thought about two options:
1) Morata and Choupo out, Austin and Coutinho in
2) Morata and Choupo out, Firmino and Sterling in
3) Morata and GroΓ out, Hazard and Austin in
three actually haha
If your happy to carry on with the two potential injuries in defence then i would look to do:
Vardy and Choupo-Moting for RCL and Sterling.
Think you need some City cover in that team.
With Chelseaβs fixtures i wouldnt be looking to get rid of Morata personally.
That will leave you with Β£1.4m to improve elsewhere in the future.
personaly id look to offload alonso and grob and keep your front 3. You could do with upgrading your midfield.
what about gomez and silva?
