Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. Liverpool’s relentless march towards the title sees them kick us off Saturday lunchtime against bottom dwellers Watford, this one could get ugly. We then have four 3pm games with Burnley 0-0 Newcastle, Chelsea hoping to get back on track against Bournemouth, Leicester chasing Canaries and Wilder’s Blades hoping to blunt Smith’s Villains. No need for sleeping pills on Saturday evening as the Saints host West Ham, whoopee!
Sunday promises to be much more interesting and we begin with Big Dunc taking his kilt and bayonet to see Little Ole. Wolves and Spurs is the other early game before Arsenal host Pep at 4.30pm.
We close out on Monday evening with the oddest of odd derbies as Palace ‘welcome’ Brighton.

No Beno. Although KDB is a season-keeper, but Mane is as well. One week later he’d also get a similar haul. We’d be chasing points then. May be double Spurs is an overkill. Same for me as well as I have Kane + Son. I am keeping both KDB and Mane plus making plans for Salah to fit in somehow. Cheers
But would you actually do Son straight back out for KDB and admit it was a mistake? Or is that just chasing points again?
@Beno. Again, no. You had your reasons for getting Son in the first place. Honestly, out of Son and Alli, I’d chose the latter always. So, a future planning could be that Alli becomes KDB in near future.

If I did TAA to Kelly I can do Alli to KDB.
I thought the spurs double up would be good with their fixtures but maybe I am a few weeks too early

They have not shipped more than 1 goal the whole season except Liverpool. I mean it’s not going to be a walk in the park for City.

I’d agree with Constantine. Everyone has been ditching City players of late, they then beat Arsenal today and everybody wants them back. Leicester are a much better team than Arsenal.
Are they better than City or Pool? We will find out over Christmas. All the best to everyone,but Liverpool are the absolute best.
Anyone know how Martial looked today? Thinking of getting him in for Watford, would be just the one game, WC afterwards… I’m basically thinking Tielemans/Rashford OR Martial/Tammy for next week? :wacko:

Yeah that’s the thing, I’d like to have Rashford but already have Vardy/Tammy/Jimenez (who has a nice fixture which I don’t know whether is good for him or not
)… Selling Mane for Sterling or Son, which leaves me enough for a Martial or Maddison or the like in for Tielemans…
Wait a minute, I just figured it could be Richarlison as well, he’s up against Arsenal, you think he’s better than Martial against Watford?
So basically if I go for Rashford for Tammy or even for Jimenez it means I’m stuck with Tielemans who I think will get 2pts against City in all likelihood…. Perhaps Richarlison is a good punt against hapless Arsenal
Yeah for one week think I’d prefer Richarlison. Might depend if Arsenal have a new manager though. Watford have not been that leaky and tbf to them they should have got something against Liverpool

Zed, I don’t know what are you plans but I am seriously considering to do Rashford → Gabriel. Other players seem to do the job in the City team :yes:
@praveen Think I prefer Richarlison to those two, Zaha is off the boil, only 2+2 this season, Jack 4+4 this season so yeah he’s a bit better pick and at home against us, yeah I’ll give it a thought…. Richarlison is 6+3 though and Arsenal are in shambles defensively!

Not sure Utd do well against ‘weaker’ teams. You can see that the stats when Utd play the top 6, counter attacking is their game. When faced with lots of possession, they lack the guile to really break through stubborn defences like we see today and vs Villa not long ago.
So personally I wouldn’t touch any Utd players, even if for a one week punt.

I’m against Constanteam in the regulars H2H this week! Currently 12 points ahead all out and he has Kelly and Zaha left! Let’s hope for a Brighton show tomorrow!
Good scoring Igy. I’d hope the opposite though. Had brought Zaha in for his Palace’s fixtures. But, he hasn’t been delivering since. Hope he repays the faith tomorrow. Anyways, my ML position has taken a hit for not owning Salah this week as few of my rivals have him as their captain and one of them even TC. So, a goal from him shall be good.
Also, my Cup’s rivals team name is Perky TI TS. Haha some name
Either way Constantine, one of us will be pushing the top two who both look to be losing this week! I deliberated over Zaha for Mount a while ago but couldn’t afford it. After getting rid of Sterling for Alli I chose Maddison instead.

Who’s the best one-week punt for a temporary Salah replacement? (I would get him straight back on an FT afterwards, with no loss of TV).
Not sure about one week transfer but, may be Richarlison?
Chip, for one week only I would try Martial. He might get something at Watford.
